Helping Him to Help Them

My wellness benefits from work cover vitamins, gym expenses and apparel I can pay for and then submit a claim for. I do not have a ton of money in that account, but more than enough for my hubs and I. I already submitted a claim for a new pair of running shoes for him. I have found a nice pair that I will buy and submit for. This afternoon I will take our son shopping for a pair, and put that on my benefits.
His benefits cover extra curricular activities for the girls-money well spent. I only have myself and my husband on my work benefits, so nothing geared to younger children would be approved. So I will help him help them.
Him and the girls will be by to pick me up after lunch today to go shopping. I did not have anything else to do today anyways.

I am always happy to go shopping! Hope you get some great purchases. Good use of those benefits. I think I do get benefits for OTC meds, but since they don't cost much I don't worry about it, but I am sure it adds up over time

I am sure that we will find some good buys.
I found a better price for the runners that I want online, and since there is a ceiling to what I can claim, I will try a pair of that brand on for sizing and then order them online. I will take the savings where I can.

@snowy22315 He is a really good shopper. He got 2 pairs, that with taxes, only came to $170, which I thought was great. He was smart to pick up 2 pairs, 1 for playing dodgeball and the other for general wear, and then his old pair become grass cutting shoes.

I have similar benefits on my Medicare Advantage Plan plus I have money put in a flexible spending account at the beginning of every school year. It comes in handy for co pays, deductibles, vitamins, etc. just as you do.

Those are great benefits. Do most Canadian companies offer such benefits?

I am more apt to be looking for something for my husband, although I did find a pair of running shoes online for a better price than the place that we are headed to offers. I will check in person for sizing and then order online afterwards.
Most of all I am looking forward to being with our son and the girls, they make me feel so happy.

This is another section of the medical benefits that the employer offers.
I find it works better for me since I never feel like I have the time to book and attend appointments for massages and things like that, but we all need new shoes and clothing from time to time.
