Not Beautiful But Blobfish Becomes Fish of the Year

The poor blobfish was named the world's ugliest animal in 2013. Since then it has climbed the scales to the prominent position of Fish of the Year in New Zealand.

These fish are found off the coast of southeastern Australia and Tasmania. The blobfish might never look any better but it beat out the organge roughy by almost 300 votes to get its title.
