Cute as a Button

I can't quite pinpoint what it was about Björk, but from the moment I first saw her in a music video on MTV in the 80s, she captivated me. Though I don't recall the specific video—this wasn't the one—I remember feeling rather drawn to her. Maybe it was her quirkiness, or perhaps the contrast between her innocent demeanor and the undercurrent of untamed sensuality that intrigued me.
I found myself utterly fascinated by her. Her voice, her distinct style, the raw emotion she poured into every performance. It just worked for me. Björk's music was also right up my alley. It came across as bold, unconventional, and entirely out of the mainstream, which I loved. Each song was like an adventure, like riding on a magic musical carousel where every turn took me somewhere new, unexpected and exciting.
I know Björk isn't everyone's cup of tea—whether musically or otherwise—but I've always thought she was cute as a button. And dare I say, strikingly attractive in her own wonderfully unconventional way. She's truly one a kind.
What do you think of Björk? Have you ever heard her music before?

Yes, I've heard her but I can't say that she captivates me.

@Danielclark691 Hey, how could I miss her? I think she's a cutie. In her own way of course. But she definitely strikes my fancy, although this is a picture of her when she was much younger.

I will admit, I thought she was cute in her own weird way. And as far as her music goes, I didn't hate it, but didn't love it either.

@porwest Hey, to each his own, right? I totally get what you’re saying.

@moffittjc As they say, there's a match for everyone and everyone has different tastes.

For some reason I always found her kind of hot. But "in a weird way" is a good way of putting it. Not like Kristen Bell hot. But still hot. Maybe I am simply weird, who knows? lol. Either way, I do like her look and of course, also her music. But I also have rather eclectic taste in music, and even my own original music is not at all in the mainstream, so I guess it fits for me.

I don’t know if this photo is current or old but if it’s current she doesn’t age. I know of the singer but can’t recall any of her songs for some reason.

@lovebuglena It was a huge hit in the 80s, but of course, had a particular audience. I don't remember if it got a lot of radio airplay, but it certainly got a lot of attention on MTV. She's extremely popular, having an estimated net worth of $215 million, so she definitely sells records.

Björk is quirky, and definitely cute. But is she as cute as Noosha Fox? Hmmmm
