Is that funny to you?
They are so tasty!!
But much like cream of wheat really.
I put butter and salt but no milk, just the boiling water.
Course the package has to say may have GMO..well what about it?
Grits ya'll.
These seem to be the white kind not the yellow.
Probably not as good..they care called Papa's Corn Grits.
Have you had them?
I got them from the food box.

@RebeccasFarm Oh no! And btw, the yellow grits are better! My grandmother used to fix them sometimes, but my mom never would. I see now that they are not even available in most grocery stores!

@RebeccasFarm I have a feeling that the texture would be something that I wouldn't enjoy.

As a Southerner, I have always liked grits. There is the long cooking kind and the instant. I like both.

I grew up eating grits. The white ones made from hominy are the kind we mostly make. We love them. The instant grits are horrid.

@RebeccasFarm That’s good that you like them. Grits that you cook yourself are so much better.

Mom forced me to take a bite of grits a couple of times when I was a kid. I didn't like them. Dad told her to quit forcing me to eat things I didn't like. They felt like gravel in my mouth and I spit them back onto my plate.

@RebeccasFarm I always made Pretty try something once and, if she wouldn't eat it, I didn't make her try it again... I swear, mom just liked to torture me.

I'm not sure if I have grits before. But if it's like cream of wheat, I'll love it.

I do not make them at home, but I have had some good grits and not so good grits, but they are tasty with cheese and bacon or with milk and sugar.

I like grits. The first time I had them was down south in NC visiting my grandad, aunt, uncle and cousins. Another southern delight.... hushpuppies!
