Time to Spray Already

Luckily, I have some triazicide in the garage I can mix up in my hand sprayer since already I have some wasps buzzing around in the typical areas they tend to want to start nesting, in and around my mailbox and around my main window in the front.
I do not like wasps and absolutely will not tolerate their presence.
Triazicide is just an over the counter pesticide, not nearly as good or as powerful as the stuff I had access to when I worked in pest control many years ago. But it works well enough.
War is on. You have no business here, wasps.

@2ndchances24 Ours will hang around bushes and what not. I spray everything. Around the windows and doorframes, on and around the light fixtures and mailbox, the bushes, near the grill, you name it, wherever they might go I make it poisonous for them. lol

Last summer we had them (not sure exactly which ones). They were flying in and out of our siding above the front door. Sometimes we’d find some inside the house. Either on living room windows or in window near front door. Not sure if that was only after hubby sprayed outside or not. I do not want a repeat of that. I’m afraid of them.

I remember the discussions about them. If I remember correctly, they were yellow jackets that you had. Just as evil as the brown paper wasps I am getting now, and I had a bad experience with yellow jackets last year as well as you might recall when they chased me down and stung me multiple times after running over their nest with my lawn mower. lol

@porwest Yeah I remember that. That wasn’t a fun experience for you. I can’t tell them apart lol but exterminator told me they were yellowjackets. Regardless of who they were I don’t want them or any of their counterparts anywhere in or around my house.

@lovebuglena Oh, yellow jackets are quite distinct. Even the other varieties are. The brown paper wasps are of course a brown or mahogany color like the one in the picture. Yellow jackets have yellow and black faces and yellow and black striped abdomens. Mud daubers are bluish or black in color and so on and so forth.
Yellow jackets are extremely aggressive. Brown paper wasps are less aggressive but still annoying. Personally, I don't want anything that stings around.

The bugs are back here, too. My feet were itching for no reason the other day.

Wasp generally don't bother me....but the ground bees will make me swell up real quick.

We usually get a horde of ants inside this time of year...The mice are gone...now come the ants. HOWEVER, they don't seem to be as bad this year. Probably because every bit of food is in the fridge or containers because of the mice. They can't find anything to eat. Good luck with the wasps.
