My husband's 2nd cousin came over yesterday and drove both cars for me. I feel a lot better about them now. A lot of damage can be caused by cars sitting too long and not being driven. This Wednesday we are planning on going to the Title Bureau and bank. Once I have the titles in my name, I will try to get rid of the Scion and definitely will scrap the Toyota. Breakfast - PB&J sandwich Lunch - Red Lobster leftovers - Bay scallops, clam strips, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin Dinner - PB&J sandwich and Cheetos What did you eat yesterday? Glad they both ran ok. Why scrap the Toyota if it runs.

It's been sitting for close to 20 years. The tires are all flat; and I doubt it would ever start, even with a new battery. I think it's a 1994 or 1996 car.

Yes, you don't need cars sitting around you aren't driving. I had pizza, donuts, and grilled cheese..nothing healthy at all really and loaded with calories. I will be back to normal today.

I have 2 cars that run; and one that hasn't been driven in about 10 years. I will scrap that one.

I made steak, broccoli, corn and Mac and cheese. You'll get everything done, it takes time.

That all sounds good. Yes, it will take months to get everything done; but it will get done. My husband was such a procrastinator....nothing ever got done.

Me too! I need 2 transferred into my name and I couldn't find the title for the car we want to scrap; so I'll need a new title and then have it put in my name.

You are doing well with getting so much done. Yesterday we had brunch and after that lasagna for supper.

@LindaOHio I used to love lasagna, but the past year or so I find it just a bit too heavy. But my husband loves it, and there are plenty of leftovers, and the girls like it.

I worry about our car sitting for so long but there's not a lot I can do about it. I need to be able to see to drive and that's not happening very often anymore. Pretty can drive but doesn't have a license and doesn't want to get one. I need to check the fluids in the car and then call for a jumpstart and take it to a garage to have work done on it... I hope you can get everything done soon. Good luck with it. I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, a slice of Shepherd's Pie for "lunch" and nothing for supper.

@LindaOHio Yes, they can... I've missed having the car. So many things are out of reach here since nothing delivers and my brother doesn't want to drive us right now... He was griping about getting my car fixed but if I can't see, what's the use in getting it fixed? Pretty keeps asking if I can see and pushing me to drive when my vision is blurry. I don't think it safe so am fairly happy the car isn't working.

@DaddyEvil No you don't need to drive when your vision is blurry for sure!!! You are between a rock and a hard place. I'm sorry that your brother doesn't want to take you anywhere.

Does Scion even exist anymore? I love our Toyota. We have a RAV4.

@LindaOHio If it was a Toyota manufactured car it probably doesn’t exist anymore because hubby’s Toyota dealership where he works doesn’t have those.

@LindaOHio They haven't made Scion's since like 2016. Parts are available still, but they may require a wait to get for a repair.

It was perfect for a spaghetti night, and so that's what we had. We also made some garlic bread in the oven using up some hot dog buns. Good eats!

@LindaOHio Country style pork ribs are delicious. I have not had them in a while. Great on the grill, though. I bet your homemade BBQ sauce is good.

Hopefully you can do what you want with the cars soon. Food yesterday was just two meals. I made a huge breakfast and then we had dinner. Pancakes, sausage, and bacon then ribs and fries all homemade.

I am sure it will be a relief to get the cars taken care of. Why were they not titled in both of your names to begin with?

The Toyota's tires are all flat; and it hasn't been started in about 10 years.
