What part of the US are you in? I should be able to plant pretty soon.

I grew some last year. They are easy with no additional fertilizer after initial when you put them in the ground. Just watch for the normal bugs and pests on the leaves as they grow. Should be ready to go with them after last frost. Even before if you cover with milk jug.

It said they didn't need additional fertilizer. I might check with the garden center to see what they will recommend in terms of soil. I have some but it isn't a real potting soil I am not sure what it says on it. I just don't want to spend a bunch of money on different soils or compost. I grew strawberries one time, and they ended up being the most expensive berries I ever had in my life, because of all the stuff I bought for them.

@snowy22315 I agree. Don't spend a ton of money on the project. Beans are generally pretty easy to grow. Just have fun.

Bush beans have always been very easy for me to grow. Just plant in rows, they grow very quickly. They also keep producing beans for quite some time, which is nice. So good, I love them.
