I do not know why I expect the weather to be anything but changeable, it is Spring in Kansas.
We have cool temperatures but not much precipitation. Hail fell sometime in the night Tuesday night.
My houseplants would like to go outside, and I would like them to go out, but they would freeze due to the cold overnight temperatures. So that will not happen for at least another two weeks.
It is Thursday--or Friday Eve as some say.
I am dressed and my lunch is packed. I guess I am going to work.

@GardenGerty What we had hardly counts. There are signs that it might be warming up a little.

Maybe one of these days I will look into geocaching. It seems like a hobby hubby would enjoy doing with me. I hope your weather was nice.

Yes, unpredictable weather for sure this time of year here in Southern Indiana as well. Thankfully I do have a greenhouse and a room with a shelf to keep my plants on with a sunny window. I have more garden plants and herbs than house plants.

I have managed, finally, to carry a huge pot of lemongrass over the winter. Love having those mosquito repellent plants in my yard. Unfortunately they do not winter over well in Kansas.

@GardenGerty Last year was the first year that I had success with lemongrass, though I don't think it will be coming back on it's own. I do have a few seeds that have germinated so hopefully they will do okay and will have more than I had last year.

I've had to turn the thermostat back and forth a couple of times with our changing weather here. I hope you have a nice day at work.

I have not had to turn on the a/c, but I have kicked the heat on a time or two.

@GardenGerty .......Same here. We set up a series of fans on the stairs last year and it really helped me upstairs. But we don't want to do that until they finish with the flooring. That won't be until mid May so I hope it doesn't get too hot between now and then.

It is chilly here today, too. It has rained off and on all night and storms are in the forecast for today.
I've kept my houseplants inside the last two years. Pretty says she won't help me if I can't see to water them and I don't want them to die.
I'll need to start getting ready in about half an hour to go to the chiropractor. The van will be here to pick us up around 8:30 am.
I hope you have a good day.

Oh, I enjoy it, just wish I was home more. Not too miserable, except if the sun does not shine.

@GardenGerty I think the thing about spring to me is the deception part. You THINK you'll have nicer days, but instead all you get is blah and chilly and miserable. lol

I understand about having plants that want to go outside. I have two hibiscus plants that we bring indoors every fall. Funny thing is they bloom indoors beautifully in October and November. I can't wait for warmer weather to transition them back outside.

That sounds like something lovely to see in the fall. I am sure they take up a lot of room though. Last average frost date here is April 15, I believe.

It's like a roller coaster weather-wise here this week. We had a few days of high 70s and then it crashed yesterday and back to just above freezing. Today it's nasty with thunderstorms. I really hope we get to enjoy some really nice spring weather before the heat and humidity of summer hits us.

Wouldn't that be nice. We had freezes two nights this week. It is April for Pete's sake. Enough of frosty windshields and freezing temps.

That is a positive aspect of continuing rain.
