Jack fruit ice cream

I have experimented with mango and also tender coconut . Now I want to give a try to making jack fruit ice cream We have jack fruit trees and they are all yielding
Once they mature I will get one and follow a recipe for making jack fruit ice cream. Had a look and it is quite simple Make jackfruit paste and keep aside. Blend full cream milk, sugar, corn flower, milk powder and a bit of milk. Bring the mix to a boil. Cooll it.. Add jackfruit paste Blend again
Put the stuff in a sealed conainer and freeze for 2 hours. Once again blend the stuff
for 3 minutes pack the container well with aluminium foil and freeze it for 12 hours.
Ice cream is ready

Sounds interesting I have never had jackfruit, Do you use it in recipes and drink juice from it?

Not made juice but have used it many recipes We make a sweet snack with it

I love raw jackfruit but I hate the ripe ones. Its smell makes me feel squamy.

We have Jackfruit flavored ice cream sold commercially. I have tried and I don't like it- well it's not really that bad, its okay. Just not the flavor I want in an ice cream. Something I wouldn't buy again. But funny, I do eat pastries or candy flavored Jackfruit and even the Jackfruit itself boiled in a sugary mix. For me its, better than ice cream. Or mix the sweetened Jackfruit together with other ingredients to make a shaved ice dessert. Now that's a delicacy to beat the heat!

I will look for jack fruit candy Never tasted it If you like other goodies made form jack fruit wonder why you do not like ice cream.
