Like losing an arm when the site goes down

We all had problems with the site yesterday. I kept going back and forth trying to get on. I was very surprised when one discussion ‘took’. I thought at that point that it was all good again but no – still couldn’t read or respond. I hardly knew what to do with myself, myLot has become such a big part of my day.
We are taking off in the motor-home on Easter Sunday. We’ll be gone three nights and will be calling on my cousin who bought our family’s farm quite some years ago. We’ll also visit Dryandra forest. With luck we might see a bilby which is the little animal in the photo. In an effort to raise funds for the preservation of our unique marsupials, chocolate bilbies are being promoted instead of Easter bunnies.

I know! I was like a lost puppy today!
Glad everything is back and running!
Interesting animal, it looks like an anteater with rabbit ears!

I am not very active here lately, but I still want to post here when I have free time. I found I couldn't reply here yesterday and I felt disappointed. Today I checked my email and found I got paid from Mylot. And I login here and I found everything goes well now and I'm happy

It's back now and yes all went through a kind of forced leave - not a sabbatical as we were not paid for that period (lol)

Usually I'm sleeping when this happens but not this time.

It will be interesting. Vince's brother is coming with us as the motor-home can seat four although it's not ideal. Two have seat-belts in the lounge area; one travelling backwards. BIL is taking his own tent rather than sleeping in the bed over the cabin. If if works for three days, we might do other trips together or might resort to him taking his own vehicle and setting up camp together each evening.

I thought that the site may have problems due to television reports of a natural disaster in Southern California recently.

Well, we've had quite the experience with the site issues! It's amazing how much we rely on certain platforms, isn't it? I'm glad to hear you're taking a trip soon; visiting your cousin and exploring Dryandra Forest sounds wonderful. I've heard that bilbies are pretty elusive, so I hope you're lucky enough to spot one! Promoting chocolate bilbies instead of Easter bunnies is such a creative way to raise awareness for conservation—what a great cause! Enjoy your trip!

The easiest way to see them would be to go to the special enclosure there, where you can take night tours with infra red lights. They come to feeding stations and you can get a good look at them. The photo shows a quenda in the red light.
Thanks for the good wishes.

Glad to hear others had problems too. I though perhaps it was just me, I did not keep trying but came on here today, At one point my laptop said the myLot was a dangerous site and I should not try to access it but today all is normal again. Seems funny things keep happening, I received a package I ordered from Amazon but about a week before I could not get on Amazon they said they could not verify me. Now they let me back on so strange, It really gets at my anxiety.

MyLot is a part of my day too. I'm glad it's up and running. That's a cute bilbie.
