I forgot to tell you about my shopping trip down town on Friday.

I went shopping down town again on Friday. My Mum didn't want anything, so I just went to get things for myself.
I checked my weather app before I went, because it looked dull out, and it said there should be rain but not until 3:00pm, so I thought it would be OK.
I set off later than usual though, because I wanted to watch "Gareth Malone's Messiah." Gareth Malone was recruiting a small choir of 8 people to join with a larger choir and orchestra in Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff to sing Handel's Messiah! The second half of the documentary was on Sunday morning, so I stayed home then to watch that, and then the concert was on Easter Sunday at 6:10pm on BBC 2 and is still available on iPlayer. So I watched that. But I'm getting ahead of myself.....
So, after I'd watched Gareth Malone on the telly, I set off for the shops. I decided not to bother going to the toilet by the Cathedral because I wasn't going to be doing much and I thought I'd be able to last.
I went directly to WH Smith first. I got an Opera magazine which is A5 in size rather than the usual A4, a BBC Music magazine, an Amazon gift card and 12 First class stamps. I put £20 on the Amazon gift card.
After I'd payed for those, I went to Holland and Barrett and got some raspberry flavoured liquorice. Then I went to The Works and got a box file to put some of my Doctor Who magazines in.
I was going to go home, but I felt it starting to spit with rain on me. So I decided to nip into the Oxfam bookshop to get out of the rain. They didn't have any books on Wales this time, and the books about places were looking a bit sparse anyway. So I went round the other side and looked for any art books. I found a book about how to draw people, so I got that. I saw a shelf over the CDs with books on it, so I went over to see if they had any books on opera. They had one which is a comedy take on opera in verse, so I got that because I thought it would be fun. Then I had a look at some of the classical music CDs. I didn't really know what to look for as regards opera, so I decided to see if they had any CDs of Shastokavitch. They had two, one was The Dance Album, (I've already got The Jazz Album), and the other was a couple of piano concertos so I got those. Then I went to pay for those, and I managed to give the correct money! When I went outside again the rain had stopped. It had only been a little dribble anyway.
So then I made my way home. I didn't go to the toilet until I got home! Then I unpacked my trolley. I went into the living room to have my lunch. My Mum was there, but she said she'd only just got home herself from the house group that meets at Church.
Even though I set off later than usual to go shopping, I was still home in time to watch Home and Away. So I had some lunch and watched the telly.
What have you lot been getting up to?
I hope you are having a happy Easter.
I hope you are all well.

Happy Easter. We had our shopping day on Saturday. It was definitely a nice day and drama free. Definitely a nice change from what's been going on :)
