Ok guys, no one-worder or one-liner replies please.
Debts and financial problems had been in a lot of discussions here, maybe ideas and sharing on being frugal or stingy would help.

rebates and coupons are my friends haha Ive taken so many coupons to the store before that they actually have to give ME back $26 dollars because I saved so much money :] Ive done it twice where they had to pay me back. the first time the guy looked confused called his manager over and said DAMN didnt know it was possible! I was so happy!

Well I wouldn't say I'm stingy, but I certainly don't just give my money away.
I won't spend more for anything than I have to, and I do research my purchases. Once I decide (based on my research) on a fair price for something, I look for the item at or near that price, and happily make the trade (money for item).
Since stingy means "spending reluctantly," I would say that I don't qualify since I have no problem parting with my money if I see value in the trade.

Unfortunately, I'm not either. I would give everything I have to others if it wasn't for my level-headed husband. I wish I could have lots of money so that I could help people everywhere. That would be the best thing in the world for me.
I've never cared much about money. I was raised by a mother who lived and breathed money, and she's still that way. I would never want to be like her and care so much about something that really doesn't matter.

that's usually how well-provided people feels. good for you, and good you got a husband to balance your give-it-all urge :)

I'm frugal. Anyone on a budget have to be frugal. Making a dollar stretch is not always easy. Every penny counts. Being frugal is not alway a regular mentality but is at times necessary.

I just love shopping. I spend hours searching for the bargains and I buy things I don't need, then when I tire of them I give them away for free. I guess I'm just a waster.
