This movie was truly a masterpiece. From time travel to human nature even a bit of a love story for those who need it. There are far too many elements that make up this movie and to try to list them all, without having watched it very recently, would be impossible. One of the more complex and thought provoking movies I've seen in the past 10 years. I appreciate every aspect of this film from the directing and casting to the placement of the cameras and the suburban setting.
Honestly I have to say that the first thing to attract me to it was a poster of Frank The Bunny. That was one of the most amazing masks I have ever seen though the rest of his suit should have been somewhat more detailed.
I think one of the best aspects of the film was the casting. From the newbs to the well known. I do think they could have picked someone better than Drew Barrymore as a teacher but who am I to say? I did like the fact that they used Patrick Swayze as the pedophiliac, I've always suspected that :-).
In closing I'd just like to say that if you haven't seen the movie go rent it, no, buy it. Oh, and to those of you who have watched it, watch it again, and again.

Drew Barrymore produced the movie... so I'm sure that had some influence as to why she was in the movie.

the director's cut leaves you with a much better understanding of everything, the regular version leaves out so much.

i saw the movie. it was ok. first i didn't understand n after i had to read the book in the movie which is available online to understand it completely. the book was made only for the movie n is available only online, so there is some part of reality missing, it would have been more interesting if tried to make some reality . Anyway it was a variety of its kind

I had to watch it a few times to get the whole picture. I also watched it that many times because I love the movie! And the music is awesome - kind of a throwback to my childhood music that was popular at the time. The characters and the music were and are so intriguing and "dark" that it made me want to watch it again and again.
