how do you decide which discussions to reply to?

how do you decide which discussions to reply to? Do you generally just start your own discussions or do you mainly answer other peoples? If you answer discussions where do you generally go - new discussions, recent discussions, top discussions, discussions from interests, etc. I generally look at the new/recent discussions and then i check out the discussions that i've started to reply if necessary to people.
Also, do you use the interests section of Mylot? I have recently added some interests and find it very good to check out the discussions based on these.

Umh.. I don;t have courage to start any discusion yet. My English is too bad to make some discusion. I read it title and decide will read or not. I almost always reply all discusion that I read. ^^

hi. i don't think your english is too bad. reading some of your short responses in some discussions, i surmise you can start a discussion of your own interest. come on, just give it a try, you can do it.

i usually answer those i find interesting.it is mostly from recent discussions.

I see the discussion list and then put a response to the discussion that I have a interst or knowledge of... and also one that seems to be interesting and can learn and earn from it.

i only reply to discussions i usually experienced in life. it's important so i can give more specific-for-real responses.
i skip questions which i know i can't explain my thoughts on. i choose discussions when i can clearly state my mind's thoughts and atleast be of help to the one questioning.

I usally go through everyones question on my friends list and answer 90% of those, then I will go to new dissucions and what ever cathes my eye I will answer them

i usually only write on the discussions that i have an interest in and that i can express my feelings, and also some discussions confuse me.

your reponse is great but i go by tagging that tells me more about mylot how mant types of tagging it exists in mylot which create more intrest in searching more for new topic

well, due to new rule mylot i not take respond to all discussion. Only the discussion with the quality content i make respond. i like kind of taht discussion if they request for my opinion, because it can help me to more open minded and practice my english. Also with quality responsd can make more money from mylot

I usually go to new discussions and seldom start my own. But maybe I should do that more. I don't respond to any discussions unless I have something valuable to add. I don't give one phrase answers. It just plain looks bad :)

i respond to discussions only if i believe i have enough knowledge to share on the topic and have evidence or proof of what i am going to say.
i normally go for new discussions.

I choose the topics that interest me. I always avoid replying to nonsense posts. I want to answer those that are really menaninful and for real and not just for the sake of submitting a comment or something. I also try to search on my interest section. Its nice to read and reply to people having same interest.
