...people do their shopping? I have recently discovered that second hand isnt always bad. Spent twelve dollars at an op shop on the weekend and got my partner hundreds of dollars worth of brand name clothes- all in near new condition. Now i want to buy my 7 month old son some clothes from there but my partner thinks its disgusting!?

i think that you should buy clothes from second hand for you and for you kid new clothes.I see you have a lot of ideas which in my opinion are wrong and probably the most people don`t think like you. But it makes you special. But it deserves. Think about it and if your husband don`t help you...it not good at all.

I'm sorry I'm not 100% certain if I understood you correctly, I'm not deranged or anything of the sort. My partner and I have started buying all clothes from second hand shops, and although my son got brand new clothes for christmas, from now on , his clothes will be second hand too. I'm certain it wont damage his health as I am certain to wash the clothes before he wears them, and wont but anything taht looks too worn or tattered...

i think that it is a folly to anwser if you can buy clothes for your kid from a second hand , after you said the your husband buyed clothes and he spent houndreds of dollars on it. If you are avaricious for your kid and your husband spends a lot of money i think it is a problem and i`m not sure if it is your problem or your husband problem. but anyway the kid don`t have any fault. And if i`m thinking that the kid health could be in danger for some clothes..... NO COMMENT. pls reply - and don`t tell to me that there is no problem with second hand clothes or smth like this.I`m sure that those clothes don`t have any problem but there were cases. And why risking the kid health and not your health or your husband health, because not the kid don`t have money to buy new clothes, and it is your responsability to take care of him. Sorry if i deranged you.

I use them all the time. Tell your husband to pull his head in. On another post you are going bankrupt. So every cent counts.

Yes, the brand is always brand and the road side is always matches its quality only. U can get the brand name only but not its quality. Anyway nice discussion to be had. Keep going, good bye. hope u r payout soon.

I agree with you, I used to buy my clothes at a second hand store. Sometimes, rich people just give their clothes up and they're not dirty or anything. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

I get all my clothes from second hand shops. I love them. I've found designer clothes, one of a kind clothes and other impossible to find items. There is nothing wrong with second hand shops. I see it as the same as a friend who gives you their clothes - if it's in good condition and clean, what's the problem?

Yeah, I love finding those little designer gems. I totally agree with your opinion... It is exactly the same as wearing hand me downs from a friend or family member.

It is fine for some people I just prefer not to wear things that have previously been worn by someone else.
