What is the best way to promote a new website

I hope there are some internet wizzes out there, I really need some help I have just done a new website for mums at home, it is also a site for employers or franchise companies to advertise jobs,also advertising for any kind of baby products could anyone please please help me on how to get my site noticed to potential customers. The traffic has been good and members are increasing rapidly, but I just dont know where to start targeting for customers, please please help

Best way to do promote a website is to do search engine optimizing of that site. You can also add good meta tag. You should discuss about your site on different forums and blogs and try to get as much as visitors as you can.

Usually I use these step to promote my website
1. Submit into search engine, sometimes using search engine submit service
2. Submit into web directory.
3. Use my web for signature on email or forum.
4. Promote on right milis for my website.
5. Promote to my friend by mouth
