I dont get alot of time to get on here anymore but when i do i find it really hard to find quality discussions to reply to just for example when i came on today these are some of the discussions i had a choice between to reply to "Do you like short girls?" "Why do people go to night clubs?" "Hi, how are you?" Well how am i spose to do quality replies to any of them? " i dont mind if a girl is short or tall but i am not attracted to girls" "People go to night clubs because they feel like it" "Hi i am good thanks"

I am new on here and have notice the same thing. I hope that my discussions I have started have more quality then the ones you have mentioned. I think this would be an excellent place for discussions if it gets quality dicussions. If they are going to ask a question then they should at least explain why they are asking the question. I have even seen some responses that were one or two words, what is all that about. I could understand it if the word were Thank you, but it isn't some don't even make a sensible connection to the discussion. Here's to hoping for better quality discussions.

i used to have the same problem too until i try to sort out my friends list and those that have silly discussions yet do not give quality respond in my discussions, i will delete them off. however there are some friends that i befriended cos i really love their discussions. maybe you should try to get more friends that you like their discussions...it will help a lot, believe me!

I agree. The friends list is the best tool to use in order to find the best discussions. Once you find friends that have good discussions, the rest of it is easy. Very good post FRIEND! :-)

well there are those type of questions and there are the good one, after the new rule the quality has really gone up, b4 the new rule there were absolutely no quality discussions, so i guess its an improvement, and soon the users will learn that quality posts really pay high amt, and bad quality pays nothing, so its just a matter of time that the quality of posts goes up!!!

Yeah.. finding quality discussions is hard and another problem is discussions about personal problems... how do I answer to personal problems... how can they decide upon the views of persons who are not related to the problem they are facing...

Well, you can always offer some piece of advice depending on your own experience. People who are desperately in need of some help would certainly gain from these advise and can use it to help them solve their problems. I think there's nothing wrong in posting their personal problems and expecting some good suggestions.

I understand. We can't have all we want to talk about. If you don't feel like responding to those kind of discussions, I suggest that you might post a new discussion to start a different conversation. I would love to see a new discussion from you.

i've got an idea. why don't you find out who among us here are posting quality discussions here, invite them as your friends, so you'll get alerted when they post their discussions. for sure, they'll be something to look forward to.

Have you filled in all your intrests? If you have you can jist select 'discussions from my interests' and its much more likely to find on topic discussions for you. Or, when you spot someone who seems to think the same way as you, addthem as a friend then choose 'discussions my friends started'. Does help weed out the rubbish to a great extent

Even I am tired of such topics. Even I am looking for some good topics where actually I can feel good to discuss.

After being away for a couple of days last week, i returned and found that the quality of discussions have improved alot! I don't see questions like "Do you think I am pretty", "will you marry me?" or "guess my age" type of questions anymore. I think the guys at mylot must have done something after getting complaints from members with genuine discussions.

We have the same problem here. If I may say, you can drop by to my discussion anytime. Although, I only open about 6 to 10 topics a day, I make it sure, I posted only quality topic. I will not be ashame to invite you to visit the discussion I open. Good luck.

I am finding it much easier to find good discussions these days. The places tha tI mainly look through now are the discussions from my interests and the discussions my friends have started tab. I answer one or two of the featured discussions as well. Trying to keep up with anything on the recent discussions tab is nearly impossible. I recommend trying the other two tabs and filling out all of your interests.

i agree totally. even i face the same problem and i have to respond to questions i dont like answering. quality is indeed rare. when i post a discussion, which i feel is qualitative, i hardly get any response!!! most of the discussions with no responses are, according to me, good. i get dissapointed at times.

I usually go to what my friends have posted or what they have responded to. I look at those with no responses, but when it doesn't look good, I'll check my intrests and see if anyone has posted anything there. Good luck in finding posts that will interest you.

Yup, this has been driving me crazy ALL day! It gets so tiring and wastes so much time trying to sift through all the pointless discussions just to find a good one! I wish there was a way they could ban the people who start these lame topics just to earn points. :(
