Four friends, who hadn't seen each other in 30 years, reunited
at a party.
After several drinks, one of the men had to use the restroom.
Those who remained talked about their kids. The first guy said,
"My son is my pride and joy. He started working at a successful
company at the bottom of the barrel. He studied Economics and
Business Administration and soon began to climb the corporate
ladder and now he's the president of the company. He became so
rich that he gave his best friend a top of the line Mercedes for
his birthday."
The second guy said, "Darn, that's terrific! My son is also my
pride and joy. He started working for a big airline, then went
to flight school to become a pilot . Eventually he became a
partner in the company, where he owns the majority of its
assets. He's so rich that he gave his best friend a brand new
jet for his birthday."
The third man said: "Well, that's terrific! My son studied in
the best universities and became an engineer. Then he started
his own construction company and is now a multimillionaire. He
also gave away something very nice and expensive to his best
friend for his birthday: A 30,000 square foot mansion."
The three friends congratulated each other just as the fourth
returned from the restroom and asked: "What are all the
congratulations for?" One of the three said: "We were talking
about the pride we feel for the successes of our son...What
about your son?"
The fourth man replied: "My son is gay and makes a living
dancing as a stripper at a nightclub."
The three friends shifted uncomfortably. "Hmmmm, what a shame,"
one replied. The fourth man replied: "No, I'm not ashamed. He's
my son and I love him. And he hasn't done too bad either. His
birthday was two weeks ago, and he received a beautiful 30,000
square foot mansion, a brand new jet and a top of the line
Mercedes from his three boyfriends."

Joy is an emotion of great happiness.
Pride refers to a strong sense of self-respect, a refusal to be humiliated as well as joy in the accomplishments of oneself or a person, group, or object that one identifies with. Sometimes a person tries not to be humiliated, and in doing so humiliates themself further (usually people that do this are arrogant).
Proud comes from late Old English prud, probably from Old French prude "brave, valiant" (11th century), from Latin prode "advantageous, profitable", from prodesse "be useful". The sense of "having a high opinion of oneself", not in French, may reflect the Anglo-Saxons' opinion of the Norman knights who called themselves "proud", like the French knights preux.[citation needed]

That's awesome! I don't know if that was a joke or a true story, but either way it's great! I believe we should love our children and support their decisions in life, as long as they aren't hurting themselves or anybody else, they are making enough money to support themselves and they are happy. To be happy in life is the most important thing!! I'm going to forward that story to all of my gay friends. :O) Thanks for sharing...

Once Laloo wanted to know the time difference between Bihar and Las Vegas's, he called up the Tourist department and asked them "Ji..Could you tell me the time difference between Patna and Las Begas...".
The man at the other end replies "One second sir..." and Laloo immediately replies "Thank You!" and puts the phone down.

A pastor explained to his congregation that the church was in need of some extra money, so he asked them to consider being more than generous. He offered that whoever gave the most would be able to pick three hymns. After the offering plates were passed about the church, the pastor glanced down and noticed that someone had graciously offered a $1,000 bill. He was so excited that he immediately shared his joy with his congregation and said he'd like to personally thank the person who placed the money in the plate. A very quiet, elderly, saintly lady in the back of the church shyly raised her hand. The pastor asked her to come to the front, so she slowly she made her way towards him. The pastor told her how wonderful it was that she gave so much, and in thanks he asked her to pick out three hymns. Her eyes brightened as she looked over the congregation. She pointed to the three most handsome men in the church and said, "I'll take him and him and him."
