Well, if you're following the guidelines, you should be good to go. They are strict on those rules now, so watch your back.

Sh*t! I was at 799 messages a few hours ago...and now I am again at 788! They deleted 11 posts from me! Even if I earned from them too because I still have the same money in my virtual wallet on myLot. It's strange, maybe we get payed, but messages are removed, maybe are duplicate discussions or I don't know..

There is an argument which isn't mentioned. If a discussion is pointless or even crap as you state. There can be very good responses made in that discussion. The point of this discussion is that somebody makes comments for hours and some or a lot of them, are deleted. That is not nice for her quality responses, although the topic of the discussion can be bad.
And by the way, don't blame the cows. There can be farmers with very good motivation why they like one cow over the other.
So even out of bad things, there can be good things as outcome.

MyLot has a great stretagy to getting people to come and join in the community but the only bad thing about it is that the only reason why people are here is to try and earn some cash. The bad thing about that is the topics that are started and responded too have no essence and not many of them have substance.
Honestly we will probably lose money by responded to this topic due to the fact that there are many discussions that have already been started on this subject.
I do believe that mylot has a couple moderators that are roaming this site trying to pick up on bad behavior and also trying to weed out some of the bad topics. As for penelizing us who knows if they even thought that removing topics would do that.. (what happens when they start archiving topics) if you havnt gotten paid for those topics because your post count is lower then most will you end up losing those points?

I've noticed that I have had about 8 posts removed and, like you, I try to respond sensibly but sometimes it may only be one or two sentences. This is the first time I've noticed this.

I am having the same problem and it is really making me angry!
I have worked so hard.. writing quality responses - and now my numbers are going down down down.
I hope this stops soon because otherwise I am really going to give up! What's to stop mylot from just deleting all your posts and claiming they dont owe you money?
First payment hassles (with ikobo) and now this~! Smells like trouble...

I'm having the same problem - I started on 850 today and have since gone down to 847 and then made them back up and lost a few again and made them back up and so on. I was on 875 then after the post before this one I'm back on 873 again! (874 now) but I've set myself a target of 1000 posts before the 15th so I only have 3 days left to complete my target. Like you I keep my posts decent length and don't reply with one word answers or just one short sentance if it can be helped. I know they said there going to be more strict about spamming and reward the one's that post decent on topic posts by giving them more for it, but if they keep deleting are posts too, then it's like were fighting a loosing battle.

We can't really make a stand on this if we don't know what it is you answered, how you answered or what the discussion was.

yes thats sad!!but i think its a bit harsh too.it should be like this way that nobody can reply on the same issue again...i have replied to and issue..this is not my fault that somebody have started the same topic somewhere..i have replied and contributed with my labour and intelligence and my content becomes their sole property.si should be rewarded and such posting should not be taken away.if i post or reply to the same topic somewhere else then only i think my topic should be deleted

Well, I have experienced no such problem. I dont try to write strictly numbered lines, I just answer the question no matter how much typing it takes, If it is worth less lines, so be it. In order to complete the criteria of four lines I will not chose to be a flibbertigibbet. And I dont answer every question, I just answer the questions which appeal to me or I think I can answer them at their fill. Somebody asked: What model of mobile phone do you use? It is an absurd question to the true essence of a forum, any forum let alone the one which pays to post. SO I just ignore these kind of questions, and I think these behaviors are being watched nowadays. Because I have recently earned quite fast with less posts, less replies than I used to do before. And whats more lady, if you really wanna earn you should arrange something else. It is not an earning podium, I doubt that this paying for posts would last long, this is just an encouragement to speak your mind and build a forum more helpfull than Yahoo Answers. Just Pick Your Points....Good Luck.

I have seen similar discussions going on and so dont be surprised if all of us get our point for this post deducted!! The fault is of the person starting a discussion which was already discussed. They should be penalized and not the people who are posting. But I am not worried about it as much. I have also noticed that sometimes my score goes couple of points higher too. So I feel it balances out. If you are here for long haul dont worry about those points...

This is third or fourth question I am seeing today with the same complain. I think mylot people want some qualitative material. That is material with content. There are no set guidelines for that, They don't want stereo typed answers. They don't want copy righted answers. They are discouraging repeated postings and they are agin asking us to avoid short answers.Like answering in a single statement. They are even discouraging us from asking such questions which have straight forward one word answers like, What is your age, what is the color of your car etc. Thats true such questions can never invoke any discussions ! Well I think you should approach the mylot people and get your self clarified why they have done so! I think you are going to have the reply from them ! All the best !
