The cell phone driver? The woman putting on make up? The vehicle that stops 15 feet away from the next driver in front of them at a stop? People who drive like they have all the time in the world with no consideration for the person behind them that is trying to get somewhere on time? The driver that can't make up their minds which lane to stay in? The drifter who rides the line? The blank head that riding your bumper behind you? The person who backs up without looking? Come on people, tell me what gets to you when you drive.

The cell phone driver is the worst. I guess these are the same people that can't walk and chew gum at the same time. I constantly see them in the high speed lane, doing way under the limit, swerving back and forth etc. Pull over or use your speaker phone. It's not brain surgery.

I completely agree and this is one of the biggest problems in my state right now, as everyone thinks they need a cell phone and a car in California.

for me, it's driving at night and cars don't put their lights on low beam --- it's blinding when you're coming from the opposite direction. but some drivers are just so insensitive!

oh, yes, i do that. there are some who'd respond, but a lot of drivers just don't seem to realize that they have to put their lights on low beam.

I have several pet peeves and because of inconsiderate people I hate to drive lol, I would have to say that my absolute biggest one the thing I hate the most is when people change lanes on the interstate with out looking to see if anyone is coming, I have had to swerve off the road or slam on my brakes numerous times due to this, luckily I have not been in any accidents because of this*knock on wood* I drive on the interstate alot. Another would be transfer trucks who think they own the road and can drive however they please, take up 2 lanes if they want, run up on your back bumper when your going 90mph in the middle lane, get infront of you and slow down to 55mph, change lanes whenever they chose with out even signaling, stop in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. urghhhh I guess that may be a bigger pet peeve, lol. As I have been in an accident because of a truck stopping in the middle of the interstate and his brake lights didn't work.

I completely agree! It's like they think they absolutely own the road and everyone else should just cater to them. How about actually driving WELL for a change? ;) Then everyone would be so much safer.

Oh man, there are so many of them! I don't even know where to start...
Personally, I hate agitated drivers, who- when you are going the speed limit or a little above- ride inches away from your bumper, rev their motors when at stoplights and constantly throw their arms up like I'm driving 20 miles below the speed limit! That is probably my number one peeve when I'm driving. But I usually tap my brake when people do that. I don't slow down, but my lights go on, they think they're going to have fender bender, and they back riiiight up. Fixes the problem on most occasions, but usually makes them pretty annoyed.

Something that drives me nuts is when people don't use their blinker. As if we can read their mind. Either I'll be on the freeway and I don't know that someone wants in OR they'll be in front of me and make a sudden turn. What's the purpose of having a blinker if you don't use it?

I dont like people who skip red lights.
I dont like people who stop right in the middle of the road to ask directions blocking traffic behind.
I dont like people who honk horns at red lights.

It has to be people who talk on the phone while driving. Or people who just appear to be preoccupied when driving. I almost got hit twice today by the same woman because she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. I finally had to move away from her because she was swerving all over the place.

My biggest pet peeve is people driving and talking on the cell phone, which is a huge problem in California, as more than 90% of the drivers today have one glued to their ear while driving. This causes drivers to not pay attention while driving causing more accidents and injuries or worse. California needs a law right now to fine people for their bad behavior, so the state can fix the roads, as many roads are only one lane, which causes a lot of traffic congestion.

It really get to me when people drive like they are on a racetrack.and people who do not pay attention when they are driving people like this should not be able to drive because they are going to end up killing someone.

When I was driving over the road for a living most other drivers made me cringe. LOL!
The ones that really got me were those who drove 30 miles to work every day, used the far left lane until 50 feet before their exit! Just like they can't remember where it is or maybe someone moved it during the night.
What about the ones that pass you like you are standing still then when they are infront of you immediately slow down so much you are braking to avoid rear ending them?
I had a theory, I surely wish I could prove it true...
There is an employment agency some where that actually pays people to drive that badly, aggravating truckers, causing other drivers to practice reflex driving, keeping everyone on their toes....I want to find that agency, I know they have to pay very very good, because anything that dangerous has to...and I know all kinds of tricks these days.

Among my many pet peeves of other drivers, the main ones are the people who, be it on the interstate, highway, city street or county road, will ride side-by-side to the person in the lane next to them. Not only is this a very hazardous way to drive but it also blocks the ENTIRE line of traffic. Cell phone drivers don't really both me, the lady putting on mascara in the fast lane doing 60mph on the interstate annoys the HELL out of me. In my city its a common occurence to stop a few lengths back from the person in front of you if you would be blocking a side street (no redlight).
Another thing that annoys me about the state Road depts. is that most of the "rumble strips" along the perimeter of the interstate are actually IN the lanes with the yellow or white lines OUTSIDE/ON the rumble strips. This effectively makes a normal 15'(30'twolane) wide lane about 3ft smaller on both sides making both drivers ride the centerline. I'm getting all pissed off thinking about it. And Truckers who decided to arbitrarily change lanes with ME (i drive a civic) beside them. 3 times in 2 days. Middle of the day, no hazards, no nothing. just "hey, i'm gonna change lanes and not check and make sure anyone is beside me". /rant.
now i need coffee.

I too dislike many of the already mentioned things. One of the things that I hate most of all is when there are two cars moving side by side, and at a slow rate, hence preventing anybody from passing by. You would think one of the cars would notice and speed up some.
