when you respond to adiscusion on my lot it takes a few minutes to write.let it be evn 1 or 2 minutes. Then it says preview.you click ont and then it says submit. if you submit it it says give a title. when you give atitle the page just turns round and you are in the same discussion so you have to begin from the begining forr another discusion. If you insert a picture t takes more time(getting, up losing, submitting).considering that there are only 1440 minutes in a day it is not possible to post more than 1440 if a person works round the clock or 3/4 people work in shifts? Or I must be wrong in my calculation.can you please explain any quicker procedure?

This is something I would also love to know. At one time when I was feeling to ill to do anything or go out anywhere I spent it on Mylot and it took me about 10 hours to post about 60 posts. It made me wonder about the claims people making saying they can post alot more. Perhaps they dont sleep and spend 24/7 on this. Mylot also had a few errors on here lately when it comes to submitting discussions or adding images and whatnot. Hopefully they are gradually all getting sorted out. xx

It's probably because they don't read, and post whatever after just skimming it.
I've personally managed 80 in one day. But I read fast, and type pretty fast. My answers are not always long winded. Some are. Those that are take a while longer to post.
I sincerely don't think anyone can make quality posts more then 100 in a day, and if they did, I don't think they have a life... Just my personal outlook on it.

Having a 10 month old daughter makes it hard too! I can sometimes manage 30 posts a day, wish I had time to do more but quality posts are hard to write when you have a child hanging off your leg lol

i think in you type faster and know what you're going to say it can take maybe 30 sec to respond to a topic in a decent manor that will get you think corrent rating/points. i normally don't use the preview button and i skip the tag parts. i also realize that its not about quantity but quality. don't really pay attention to the ratings next to your name, its like a guideline...i think it takes more time to read the topics then it takes to respond sometimes...i've seen some that were practiclly novel...lol

Personally, I think its a MyLot bias against anyone that meditates on Roses. Salvador Dali was famously ignored and blocked from MyLot for spending too much time meditating on Roses and not enough time posting discussion comments on point.
even worse on those rare days when he didn't paint roses hovering in the air and actually did respond to a discussion, he rarely responded in a way that made sense directly let alone answered a question in anyway shape or form that could be seen as helpful.
In his later years before his demise in 1989, he stated that he really didn't have time to post descriptive tags of categorization for his work and felt it to be a waist of time not worthy of his disection.

well you are right , that it takes time to add your post with image, the best for earning more here is, REFERRALS , invite as many friend as you can , and when they earn, you get 25%(extra bonus) of their earning, so if a group of people are earning under you you get more amount... SO NOW IF YOU ADD 1 POST , MANY PEOPLE (YOUR REFERRALS ARE ALSO ADDING POSTS ) THEY GET THEIR AMOUNT , YOU GET EXTRA BONUS ... HOWS THAT?

How much did you end up making for those 80 posts and 6 hours? Is this actually a lucrative job? Seems like that ends up less than a $1 an hour. Maybe someone can clue me in on how the pay is computeed. Thanks!

I type 50 words per minute but I don't post that quickly because I also think about my answer while typing making sure it makes sense. :)

Whatever may be the form/size of my post, I always take my time. Write it, review it, preview it, make corrections, change word to describe more vividly. I really can tell there is nothing wrong in taking time while posting.
But the magic recipe to become a poster-machine, a BOT like posting is not yet known to me.

It is important to save time because we have to think before commenting. so operation time + thinking time reduces the number of postings drastically.so the question as to what kind of postings increase the number beyond time available?
Consider this .suppose there is a company with a dozen computers all logged on to the sme id and posting answers to different questions simultaneously. Is it possible?

Remember, this is supposed to be used as a message board, not just a way to try to earn as much as you can. If you use it honestly you will make a decent bonus each month of $20-40, but if you try to flood it eventually those people will be caught for violating the system.

The shortest comment can be an 'Yes" or No" even to do that one has to go throgh all the steps which would at least take 45 seconds. If there is any one out there does this at ashorter period he is welcome to give some details.
How ever this is not a yes or no forum

Majority of my lot members use it as part time as you can see from many of the answers given above. My question was related to time and work. If you feel that My lot is atime wasting forum you should not be in it.It is an investigative and enlightening forum .At least that is what the majority of the members as well as my lot sponsers want it to be.

Ido not take long to respond to a discussion, either writting or submitting

Well valmiki I am using dial up but still I can post 100 discussions in just 3 to 3.5 hours and I would suggest you to respond to only those discussions which are if good quality and avoid giving answers in just yes or no or just in one line instead try to answer as mush as possible so that you can earn a good earning from mylot...............................
