Everyone has positive and negative qualities.....................Adolf Hitler was not a secular person(no offense meant)..........but he had the gift of orration and resource fullness. USA could afford to participate in the war since it is not located in Europe. It is located far away in North America, had it been located in Europe , it would have certainly faced strong opposition from Germany. Hitler commited only a couple of tactical mistakes:- 1-Undermined USA. 2-Broke the pact with Russia and tried to occupy it. Apart from these 2 tactical mistakes, which cost him the war, he was truly a juggernaut. I do admire him for his military skills and patriotism.

Hitler was Austrian and not German...but the Germans were stupid enough to listen to him!! Wrong is wrong and Hitler was just plain wrong!

I find it odd that everyone, historians, film makers, people in general all focus on Hitler in Europe, his genocidial policies within European boundries, then try to change the subject to the Israeli occupations and supposed depredations on Arab countries. Why does no one seem to realize that Hitler's goals reached much farther than Europe and the elimination of the 'races' he considered beneath him and his 'Aryan Race'? Hitler had forces in Africa, in the Saudi Desert. Arab countries where also slated as targets. Does anyone really think he would have stopped with the 'races' he was already using as political fodder? The man was an orator agreed. He was also very good at using people's fears to further his own career. He was also a meglomaniac, suffered from several personality disorders, had delusions of granduer, had amphetamine psychosis, hallucinations and paranoia. He should have been committed to a psychartric hospital, yet he gained power and was one of the central causes of a war, attempted to destroy more than one people, all in the name of his ego and mental illness.

My grandparents were in the Holocaust, they were survivors but had to go through that trauma thanks for Adolf Hitler. How can I POSSIBLY say anything nice about him after what he did??? Anyone who says anything nice about Hitler deserves to be tortured! I'm sorry but HOW can someone possibly say anything nice about Hitler. Even if one is anti-semetic, Hitler killed others too, there were 5,000,000 non-Jews that were killed in the Holocaust!

I am aware of his phenomenal talent for convincing an audience to support him. This was especially evident since he managed to convince the german people that they could win a major war, and at a time when many germans still remembered the defeat of World War 1. He also did quite a bit to benefit the country, such as the introduction of the People's Car known as Volkswagon. Nevertheless, he was a totally immoral and dictatorial leader who was ultimately responsible for the loss of a vast number of lives.

Honestly, I think the world could have done without him.

Hitler was a horrible man. The things he did to some people are dispicable. If he used those things for good then he could of been a great man but in my eyes he is the worst man in the world.

The U.S. did not get into the second World War until the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. President Roosevelt was actually the one who pushed the Japanese into bombing us, allowing him to get into the war.
