If I am at home or in library I prefer wired connection. However if I am outside or travelling I dont have any option so I have to opt for wireless. Yes recharging of wireless products is a big pain so I use them only when I have no other option. The convenience is there in terms of portability but I agree that recharging is always a problem.

well for my keyboard and mouse i don't mind that much, i only have a wireless mouse and it's on rechargeable batteries so when 1 runs out i recharge it and while i do that i put in other batteries so i don't have to wait for it to recharge. my internet is wireless 2 and that's very usefull using a desktop and laptop here.
then our home phone, this is a pain in the u-know-what! at first it was good but now these things (we have 2) are actin up, nobody in this house remembers to put one in the charger and then when we get a call the phone runs out... irritating as u can understand. conclusion on this: we need new portable phones =D

i have never use wireless equipments but i think wireless are better then wired as you are free to sit anywhere using your system but it is little bit costly then wired...
