Why do many Men think They are better than Women?

I think it is due to the way they were raised. Many Men are taught from an Early age on, they need to be Macho, and be the Bread winner, and a womans place is in the home, and the kitchen. Or a Woman should never be in a High position at their job. That is Man's work. But men need to remember, without us women, they are nothing, and would not be here. And their is nothing wrong with a Woman CEO, or Woman Construction worker, etc. just like their is nothing wrong with Men wanting to stay at home and cook and clean, do laundry, etc.

This would be due to both a taught and a learned response. From childhood we are given an opportunity be start our training (taught). Those whom accept go on to be unchallenged (learned). Those that did not work hard must act hard and make up for the insecurity (false). Women do no realize tha in a civilized society law superceeds muscle in authority. Since law does not exist without a concious presence, what holds up law? Usually a male muscle, and if he doesn't know how to play ball....

guys dont think that theyre better than women, its just guys are more happy with their body's. girls tend to be more body concious and guys are happy with their body's even when their fat.

It is only egoistic thinking and self-centred persons think like that.

I think men have got used to thinking that they are better, that is what they are thinking for several years now. As time has changed the world has changed, so many men have also changed but there are few who have not yet ready to change. Don't worry they will also change may be later.

they just think but they r not .......all r equal nobody is superior or inferior. do you know the whole world had a fight for woman mostly.

simple...because they are better!

Take a look in history... maybe you`ll find that nowadays things are much better in what concern respect for women... I for instance consider all women and men equal... no difference... and that`s were the society is going in what concerns this matter...

men are competitive, they always wanna come out on top

Naturally men are very independant and most are power hungry. Men like the feeling of having power and tend to try and put themselves above women. We are also physically more powerful than women and are biologically supposed to be protectors of women so its only natural for men to feel they are better.

I think it has a lot to do with the way they are raised. If their parents were raised when women didn't have the rights that they do now they are going to share those thoughts with their children. So boys raised by parents of that age are going to lead them to think the same way.

because of pride. and even before, they think man are the most poweful creature in the world. but look at the world today, most woman can do lot things more than men.. or maybe we can say that today, there is an equality and thats the case that sometimes men dont accept it. nothing is impossible.
