Do you think abortion should be illegal?

So many woman get an abortion and use it as birth control, some get one becasue they don't think the baby is a baby. Do you think an abortion is ok at any stage, or should it not be legal after a certain point in the pregnancy. Do you think it should be the womans right to decide what to do with her body? What about the child's right?
Tell me what you think and lets be respectfull please.

BC is what one uses to PREVENT a pregnancy. An Abortion is what one has performed, to END a pregnancy.
A baby is what I have and change diapers on. A fetus or zygote is the stages of development, BEFORE it bcomes a person/baby and has rights.
I think abortion is a legal choice for the individual to decided and NOT have decided for her. I also think that is how it should remain.
I think, all women and I hold exclusive rights to the content of our own uterus and it is extreme invasion of privacy for anyone else to dictate what should be done with it.

When you use statements like, "So many woman get an abortion and use it as birth control"...it kinds of sounds like you don't, sorry if I was mistaken, my fault.
As for the some that may abuse this right, there are many that abuse every right we have, doesn't mean it should be banned as a legal choice for the rest of us. The choice of abortion is a very serious decision for many more women than those that take it lightly. It's not a walk in the park many women are lined up for.
Now let me ask you a question, if abortion was banned today, would you sleep better at night knowing women are now going to have illegal abortions? Just curious.

You would think. Some woman use abortions as a means of birth control, I know what an abortion and birth control are. Some woman in the US will ahve an abortion each tiem they get preg. I do not agree, I think it is always a baby, its funny how some woman make that distintion depending on if the baby is wanted or not.
LMAO do you really think I didn't know the diffrence between an abortion and birth control?!

i think aborion should be legal becuase the mother might not be mentally ready to have the child.I think it the woman's right to decide whether have the baby or not.

If it's illegal to kill cats and dogs, surely it should be illegal to kill a fetus(a part of a developing baby)?Boy, sometimes, we come so far too only go far back.
It's one thing if you were rape or your health is endangered, but simply having an abortion because you and the guy aren't going to make it, or your just not ready now is very selfish. There are other options like adoptions, and the best is: Abstinence until your married or ready or at least be willing to deal with the consequences and responsibility that comes with being sexually active.

No I don't feel abortion should be illegal. It's a woman's choice. I never judge any women who ends up aborting. But I do feel it should be illegal after a certain stage in the pregnancy. If a woman is 6 months pregnant, then she should NOT abort.

I wonder why you said 6 months, if you come back can you explain why you gave that date. Do you know what a 18 week old fetes looks like? I do, I lost my son at 18 weeks and I held him in my arms, they weigh very little, but are completly formed, they need to just gain weight and their lungs are niot ready to breath on their own byt it is very human! Did you know at 21 weeks gestation if a woman has a baby they try to save it becasue at 21 weeks the lungs can start to breath. By the way that is 5 months and 1 weeks. Aslo do you guys know what they do to abort a baby whose in the 3rd trimester? I have heard and to the least its inhuman and disgusting! Did you know a woman can choose to abort up until the baby is born on its own, doesn't matter if the baby is full term and is able to breath on its own they still have to kill it.

The argument is that the fetus is not a child. To me that's like saying, you are not human because your missing a hand or feet. Every single cell is alive. Every cell makes up the child. Makes up you. None of us would be hear, if we were never a fetus, you can't become a woman, unless you were first a girl. LIFE is LIFE!

I don't think there should be any discussions about Abortion being made legal or not..But one thing is that we can't solve many problems if abortion is made illegal.We should think abortion as the last step when all the doors of the problem is shut down such as when a minor is raped and is being pregnant,at that tiem the problem can't be solved if it is made illegal becuase in such cases the minor girl is not in aposition to hold the baby.

Are you kidding me, why shouldn't we discuss it? Especially 3rd term preg abortions, people should know what is done. If its not discussed so many people would think it was ok to do not knowing what the baby goes through to be slaughtered.
I said 3 or 4 times what we should do if abortion was made illegal, I'm not going to repeat myself again. So I think you are very wrong.

Abortion is a touchy subject, and one that I have mixed feelings about. On one hand I hate abortion and think that it is wrong in most cercomstances, however, I don't see how we can take the right away from a woman to choose to have one done, as long as its done very early on in the pregnancy. Women in their second trimester and on should have to keep their babies alive. Don't get me wrong, I totally dislike abortion, but have to side on Freedom of choice.

Thanks for your comment, I think a lot of epople feel this way I just find the stand point of its horrible for me but its ok for young woman to go through is strange to me.
I don't see how when you know how these babies are killed you can be ok with it. There are so many other options for these woman.

NO WAY. Im going to give you the same answer that I gave when answering the other question about abortion. I personally believe that under certain circumstances abortions are completely justifiable. I think it is silly of people to say that its murder. What really bothers me however is when those same people turn around and say negative things about how a mother treats her children or say how mean it is that a mother cant feed her children and she should not have become pregnant. Everyone makes mistakes but I dont think the baby should be punished for the mothers mistake. If you cant take care of your baby I think it is selfish to keep it. That unborn child doesnt deserve to have to live its life unhappy or hungry and if your boyfriend or husband is violent, that baby doesnt deserve to be hurt. Also, if you are just 14 or 15 years old and you are raped and become pregnant dont you think you would want the chance to have a life. It is not your fault that you are pregnant and by having that baby your whole life could be ruined. If you dont believe in abortion then fine, but dont tell other people to throw away their own lives because its not something you believe in.

I don't think its silly to say killing an unborn baby is murder. I think you are way off, you can't compare a bad mother to say abortion is ok,. Chances are if you gave that mom support she wouldn't be a bad mom. How is giving a baby a chance at life a punishment for the moms mnistake? No its doesn't ahve to stay with the mom ei9ther, if the situation is that abd give the baby up for adoption.
I think if a child is raped the should go to the hospital, we do have pills in givin right away can stop a preg from ever starting.

i am not against abortion. its the mothers choice, so respect it. i see nothing wrong with it personally, if it was a bad theing, why would it be legal?

Do you know how these babies are killed especially in late preg? Its a very horrible thing. You can't know what happens to get the baby out and say its not a bad thing. I'm going to assume wither you don't know what happens or your english isn't very good.

I think abortion should be womens choice. With that said there should be some limitations as to how many. It isn't birth control. There are many reasons why some women do it and it is a personnel choice. I believe some women should have the right but others shouldn't if they are going to use it as birth control. I personnaly would never have an abortion and I was faced with the choice. I actually went to an appointment and realized it wasn't for me. In the end I am happy with my choice and no that I could not have lived with it in the end. But I don't feel women should be condemed for making that choice.

I do feel that it should be a woman's right, but there are instances that I do not agree with, like the fact that you bring up, when some women use it as birth control, I knew someone that used to do that and she had 7 abortions I think that was terrible.
Now if a woman was raped, definitely she should have every right to have one.
I personally would not have one, but I dont berate anyone else for doing it

I completly agree, there is a reason they are happening. I would love to see programs set up to work wiht these woman and find out what is going on, how can they be helped, ect. Also, there is non to little counceling for woman who do whose to abort. Its so bad that there is a large percentage of woman that are so hurt by what they did they go and get preg again. I have talked to a woamn a few years ago, she was married and already ahd a child, the hubby didn't wnat the new baby so he strongly push her to ahve an abortion dodne, she was so messed up by it she went and got preg as soona s she could.

I believe that the mother and father of the unborn baby should have their say in how the baby is cared for. It should only be able to be decided to have an abortion if both parents agree on it, or if they go to court and the mother is granted custody of it.

Hmm, not sure that I agree. The way it is now the father has no say if mom wants to have an abortion, not sure about adoption. I think the father has to be notified but I don't know the details. I know a lot of adoptions today are open and the mom can choose the fmaily and talk about how she would like to see the baby raised. Is that what you ment?

Abortion should be illegal. With all the ways we can prevent pregnancy it shouldnt even be an issue. If you dont want to get knocked up... use protection... pop a pill or something.
I'm childless by choice and have remained "child proof" without the use of abortion. If I can do it... any woman can.

I'm definitely pro-choice. However, that does not make me pro-abortion. I think abortion is a dreadful thing but it is the choice of the woman whose body carries the fetus and no one else.
