I would vote for a native american even if his schooling was not the same as the past presidents. Who knows our country better than the true American. Do you realize that it does not say anywhere in the qualifications for President that the person has to have any type of college or degrees? If a Native American had the diplomacy needed to deal effectively with other nations, and the intelligence to solve problems on the home front, and the pride of his/her homeland to work on the sufferings of American citizens, then yes, I would want him to be our leader.

Clinton was a Rhodes scholar. Bush was barely a "C" student. Let us hope this Native American leans more to the Clinton side with intelligence. All things being equal, it should only be a statement of fact once he or she wins. "FIRST NATIVE AMERICAN PRESIDENT" It should never be a question of race for a candidate RUNNING for president. This is America, for God's sake! Just a thought. One day Martin's dream will come true.

Look what 'schooling' did for Bush? School can't teach you certain qualities that are needed to be in charge of a country. The right attitude is needed, the right level of awareness, if they're met, why not?

Running means nothing, because if he has the money everyone might want to hear him out. It's after that decision will be handed down. With all the gambling money one of them might try, but other ethnic groups like the blacks, Hispanics, and the Catholics with all their resources and huge number are failing miserably to measure up everyday. So, how are those guys that are far removed from reality can do it. Be sure that he won't be barred from running at least for the heck of it, although, I don't what their constitutional right is.
