use the money you get from mylot and save it. even if you can save 30.00 a month. you can make a dollar a day if nothing else.

No, I didn't have a job in 2006 so I was drawing down on my savings (good thing I did save money in previos years). For 2007 I'm hoping to find a full time job or more freelance work, so I'll be able to at least break even or maybe save money.

No but I stared the New Year off right with 100.00 in my Bank Account
from Myot, over the few Months. that I have been here on this site. I am going to keep putting money in my account from MyLot.

That's a tough one! It seems as if we are always living paycheck-to paycheck and don't really have a savings account. My husband usually has some "cushion money" hidden in our bank account for emergencies, but it wouldn't be more than say $1000 or so.

Yes I did manage to save up a little bit but definitely not as much as I would have liked to. But these savings just land up being spent at the end of the year on clothes or some other things.

You cant save money when you are trying to clear up debt. That is what we have been putting our extra money towards. In a couple of years we will be ready to save and enjoy some travelling and a bigger home ...I hope! We are heading in the right directions for retirement though!

I was able to save $1500. I wish I could have saved more, but maybe next year. I'm still dealing with some credit card debt, so that eats up most of the extra money I'd be putting into savings. Once I get rid of all that junk, I'll have around $600/month for savings only.

I actually saved quite a bit. God was good to me and allowed me to do it. I'm trying to get a "base" amount of savings before I start saving for a new car.

I have very little left in my savings, but there is some there. I put $20 out of every payday into my savings so that I have money around the holidays.
