Already we all remain stucked to indoor activities than going out and busy our selves in something more harder which is good for our body and health. Mostly it is seen teenagers prefer playing indoor games like PS2, PC Games, or involve in other indoor activities than prefer playing basketball or may be going for swimming or running.
Now from these people there are plenty who use Computer for hours non stop which is extereimly bad for health and specially eyes, msn messenger, yahoo, internet explorer, all these names have made us addicted to internet and we don't have a second option to quit using computer.
Now for me personally myLot has been another activity which i can't live without, well since couple of days i have spent more than 5 to 6 hours everyday on myLot.
So can you imagine how much energy do we waste here? How much stress do we put on our eyes, our mind and body?

gosh... you have saved my beliefs in this site, after reading this respons, I hesitated because I though everything was just pitfalls, for not receiving payment. I'm just a newbie here and I'm believing what I', reading because I didn't have any testimonials of receiving payments with mylot...

"Do not blame the object, blame yourself" That is what my husband often tells me, a person should not blame the food because it makes them fat, or the curling iron because it ruined their hair, they should only blame themselves because they used those objects.
MyLot is just a website that offers money to those who have time to spend in responding to forum topics, some may spend more time on MyLot that on other activities while some are online for only a ocuple of hours.
It's a matter of time management, it's up to the person if they want to spend their whole day using the computer, they are the one's who will suffer.
If you think that you're wasting a tremendous amount of energy on MyLot then why do you have over 500 posts? The answer is simple, you like this website.

Yes, I do agree with, we don't need to blame the objects except for ourselves. we're the one using it. and of course, it's all about time management, i use mylot when my baby is sleeping more probably very early in the morning, about 4 hrs only, then I do my jobs at home after this and the whole day. It really depends upon the person, if he/she didn't wanted to do outdoor things, anyway, this is addictive too and being addict is really hard to treat, everythings a matter of discipline!

i absolutely agree, its upto you to manage the time. i have just joined my lot and the comments i have read and limited search i have done on this site shows that its more like a trap. i am not saying that people shouldnt use it but they shoudl anage their time, if ur in here for just making money then dont spoil your time and health , have some alternative , allocate some time like 2 to 3 hrs maximum a day for this site. keep it as a side or part time income and concentrate more on your eduaction or day job or any long term planned activity in your life.
as far as payment is concerned i want to know how do they pay you for each comment and each new discussion u start, i mean i wana know whats the prce rate per comment or discussion.
or does it depends on the quality of your comment and how do they decide that.

It is really a relevant topic of modern day children .
I have a 4 year son who also is confined to home most of the time . However for this we the parnets are to be blamed more than he. Another factor of hindrance to him going out is the deficiency of my home town . It has very few public playground and the raods are too congested thanks to the agressive marketing of the duo of Car financers and the Car sellers .
Still I take my son to some parks off and on . He enjoys going there .
I have plan to take him for swimming practices next season . However money will be a concern for me . I have another plan to give him some exposur eto thr rural environment .
One point I would like to bring to the notice of you as well as th emylot community as a whole anf for further deliberation that one of my Opthalmologist friend tells that computers or Tv have very negligible affect on the eyes of chidren .

well i think its just part of life ! i access mylot mostly from my office and that is also 2 hrs at morning and 2 hrs at evening !so from home i used to just watch it once or twice a day ! so that is good in my case !
but talking about children's , yeah its very much important to make awareness among parents to let child to play outdoor games in early age ! its matter of their health !

Gee, 5 to 6 hours on Mylot. Why, that is excessive. I limit my computer recreational time to 2 hours max daily including mylot etc. There is lot more to life than sitting at a computer.

I do not put any stress on my eyes or myself.. There is a difference between getting addicted and using it for some time. You seem to be addicted. Mylot is not responsible for your addiction. Mylot did not tell anybody to posts 100 posts a day. Just treat it as a regular discussion forum and forget about money... That way you will not be addicted and you will earn more!!

i do not spend that much time on mylot, but i have enough for my payout and still i have many days left.
I think that today is 26 and i still have till 31 december.
My goal is 12 $ and i still have 9.12 $ and still my money is going to be updated later.
Anyways being 5- 6 hours is a lot and usually people dont sit in front for too long

thats the reason why I limit my time spent on mylot to a maximum of two hours and I follow that routine with all the respect..and though it does affect the earnings made I am satisfied with my effort and the rewards which i get..I know some people have higher expectations and thats why they tend to spend a lot more time here..but I am sure people would realise with time that there are also othere thinsg to be done..

hey that is the case in most places but even to this day there are people who work hard inside the house equivalent to that of the work done outdoors so i do agree with whatever you have discussed but cant say thats the only thing to make a us lazy but still your are partially right

I tihnk there are always two sides of a picture and we should look on both sides rather tha n just looking at 1 side.
I could see a lot of healthy discussions on mylot
and this broadens ones mind and horizon.
As far as matter of time is concerned here comes the time management. Its upto the individual to manage his/her time.
