Pizza Lovers--Thin Crust or Thick Crust??

Ok pizza lovers. How do you like your pizza? Thin crust, thick crust, hand tossed? What is your preference? I like it either way. I guess it just depends on my mood. Sometimes a thin and crispy crust is awesome. Other times a loaded pizza with lots of toppings is better with a thick crust. What's your preference?

I like both as well! Thick crust is better for meat lovers or supreme pizzas; thin is sooooo good on a veggie pizza. Like you said, it depends on my mood! and now I am hungry... lol

It also depends on the kind of pizza. For instance, a thin crust doesn't work very well on a taco pizza. Yummm! I think pizza must be the favorite topic here...lol!

@kareng Now there I might disagree with you. A hard shell taco is thin, and so I would think a thin crust would go well with a taco pizza. Just my two cents worth.

@porwest That would depend on if it was thin or super thin. The place I was thinking of where we used to get a fantastic taco pizza had so much on it for toppings that there is no way to hold a slice up to eat it if the crust was thin. Now I want pizza!!! Good pizza!

I have always liked thin crust better. With thin crust, you don't get so full right away because of all the dough. You can eat more that way! This post made me hungry. I think I'm going to eat now! :P

I like deep dish the best but I will eat the hand tossed. I will eat the thin crust if I have to but it's just not enough pizza.

I like a thick crusted pizza because I really like crust.... the thin crust pizza is almost like a pizza with no crust... u can't have that!

Any pizza that comes from Pizza Hut firstly, then I prefer the deep pan thick crust with chicken, bacon and pineapple on it, delicious, nice and loaded, with a side portion of coleslaw and crispy bacon bits!

thin crust is the best with alot of cheese topping on it. Thick crust makes me feel so tired when trying to chew it. Thin crust will allow us to enjoy the food on the pizza and also make us easier to eat.

@porwest When Godfather's was still in Louisiana it was the best! About 10 years ago, we went to one in Arkansas and it was not the same great pizza of years ago. It was just average. They had a thick and deep pan pizza that was to die for.

I love pizza! I prfer thin crust. My favourite toppings are 4 cheese and mushroom. I prefer thin crust as it has more flavour- you can taste the toppings more.

Yea, I know what you mean. Thick is good every now and then but some of it is like eating bread. If I wanted bread, I'd eat bread and not pizza!

My favorite is thin and crispy with pepperoni and pork sausage. Also, bar-b-q on deep pan. And supreme on hand-tossed. I guess I like any kind of pizza!!!

Same here. It is so true that us from New York tend to be a bit critical when it comes to the proper way to experience pizza. For me, if it's not from Vincent's or Gino's pizzeria, then it's not pizza LOL. I get so annoyed when you see these new hand-pressed pizza apparatuses in the franchised establishments, and they claim it's authentic pizza. Nope, it has to be hand tossed.
