Coke Adds Death

An interesting piece of information .......
Have a look at the wrapper on a Coca-Cola 1.5 litre bottle and in the ingredients label you will find phosphoric acid in it. Minute quantities of ethylene glycol is also used (which is acknowledged in the soft drink world for making it really chill").
This is popularly known as anti-freeze which prevents water from freezing at 0 degree C and instead drops it by 4-5 degrees with minute quantities.
This chemical is a known slow poison in the caliber of arsenic. So, if you manage to drink about 4 litres of Coke within an hour or so, you can die. Read along and give up these dangerous things.
Be natural, have flavoured milks, tender coconuts, butter milk and plain water instead of these "soft" drinks.
Guess what's the pH for soft drinks, e.g. Coke? pH 3.4! This acidity is strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones! Our human body stops building bones at the age of about 30.
Soft drinks do not have any nutrition value (in terms of vitamins &minerals). It is high in sugar content, carbonic acid, chemicals i.e.colorings etc.
Some like to take cold soft drinks after each meal. Guess what's the impact? Our body needs an optimum temperature of 37degrees Celsius for digestive enzyme functioning. The temperature of cold soft drinks is very much below 37 degrees or even close to 0 degrees Celsius. This will dilute the enzymes & stress the digestive system. The food taken will not be digested. In fact it will be fermented! The fermented food produces gases, decays and becomes toxin, and gets absorbed by the intestine, circulates in the blood stream and is carried to the whole body. Hence, toxin is cumulated in other parts of the body, developing into various diseases.
Think before you drink coke/Pepsi (or any soft drink) again. Have you ever thought what you drink when you drink an aerated drink? You gulp down carbon dioxide, when nobody in the world would advise you to drink CO2.
Two months back, there was a competition at Delhi university. "Who could drink the most Coke?" The winner drank 8 bottles and fainted on the spot-too much CO2 in the blood. Thereafter, the principal banned all soft drinks from the college canteen! While this might have been an extreme measure, the results do provide some food for thought.
Did you know that soft drinks use chemicals in them that cause immense harm to you. Someone put a broken tooth in a bottle of Pepsi and in 10 days it DISSOLVED! Can you believe it? Teeth and bones are the only human parts that stay intact for years after death. Imagine what the drink must be doing to your soft intestines and stomach lining!

I really want to try some of these experiments because I find this information fascinating with the number of people that drink large quantities of soda everyday. I have heard a few of the things that you mentioned before but some were really new to me. Thanks for posting

If you've ever moved into a new home and found the old owners left the toilet in a bit of a state .. empty a bottle of Coke into the toilet and leave overnight ... it will be sparkling clean in the morning ...
And that is one reason why I never drink Coke .. it's a brilliant toilet cleaner ... yuk !! So can you imagine what it does to your insides ... omg ...

really? Does it remove those nasty stains that collect in the bottom? Cause I swear I've tried EVERYTHING else and nothing works. I'm ready to just get a new toilet it's so frustrating!

This person that posted above me really need to do there own research and not follow what the government is feeding to them. Just because they sell it on the shelves doesn't mean it is safe. Watch the movie "Super Size Me" and also read the books by the author Kevin Turdeau.

sounds really horrible! but why is the BFAD not doing anything about this? just like aspartame. i've read so many articles of aspartame being poisonous and all that, and yet we continue to see processed foods containing aspartame in the market that are approved for consumption by BFAD and the department of health. are we missing something here?

I already knew this information because i've been studying chemistry, especially pharmaceutical chemistry. It all depends on us the consumer to buy or not to buy these processed products everyday and consume an excess for the body.I think there a a limit to everything.Too much is bad as too little "coke and other softdrinks".I guess it up to you. if we report it to BFAD and DOH. You could not be heard and the company maybe accused us back on for economically sabotaging their business.I personally don't drink softdrinks anymore after learning about this basic priciples in pharmaceutical chemistry.I drink maybe once or twice a year.Aspartame becomes poisonous when taken too much.

Thanks for the post. I'm glad I stopped drinking pop. I only drink 2 cans a week now. It used to be 2 or so a day. I don't like Coke much, but I do love a good Dr. Pepper!

This is from an E-mail that circulated on the net sometime back. While I am no fan of either coke/pepsi or for that matter any softdrink, it is not fair to hit below the belt.
Agreed that colas or soft drinks do not have any nutritional value, but that does not mean that they are poisonous.
'Ethylene glycol' is a known poison. Don't you think the FDA or any food regulation authority in any country where coke is sold would have noticed it and banned it a long time back? Checkout facts and uses of Ethylene glycol at wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethylene_glycol.
The ingredient actually used in soft drinks as antifreeze is 'Propylene glycol', which is approved by FDA for use in food and medicines. Look up the FDA approval and the reasons for deeming it safe at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_glycol#Safety.

That's why I switched to Diet Coke over 10 yrs ago. And with all of that carbonation, I really get a good belch from it. Every student knows that if you leave something in a can of soda, that the item will eventually dissolve. Another question is this, The student who ended up with too much Co2 in his system, did he ever belch after drinking any of the soda? And with a body temperature of 98.6 degrees F, it would take a lot to keep the temperature below that in order to improperly digest the food. Once the cold drink enters your body, it starts to get warm, and shortly after becomes the same temperature that you body is. And as far as diluting the bodies enzymes, then drinking any liquid would dilute the strength of the emzymes. If you could provide credible medical facts on what you have said (i.e. specific links in medical journals), then I might be more apt to believ what you are saying. Right now, the only thing really associated with dring soft drinks, is that it tends to add weight to the person, which has a negative effect on the body.

in my opinion also these so called soft and cool drinks are not at all healthy...
by seeing the composition of these drinks we can understand about the drinks...
Moreover it has many adverse effects on the healths of children. These drinks should be banned in school premises and not allowed 4 the children below 15 years of age..
the drinks contains harmful acids which are dangerous to our health..
So our first aim to reduce the usage of these drinks so that the production off these drinks automatically stops...

Thanks for the info, actually we've been minimizing our softdrink consumption for the past months now. It's kinda hard since softdrinks are very addicting but I know we'll get over it. Thanks again.
