I'm not really age conscious. I'm 38 and there are days when I feel like I'm 18 and other days when I feel like I'm a 108. A lot depends on how I'm feeling, I mean if I'm in a lot of pain that day or it's a good day and the pain is minimal. Of course when I mention something that I grew up with and friends I talk to on line have no clue what I'm talking about, that makes me feel old :)

I have felt for a long time that age is just a number, nothing more. I suppose in some ways I am age conscious, but for the most part, I am conscious of just how much younger I feel than my actual age. Of course I would love to have my younger body back, but with the knowledge that I now have as well. hehe

i am never an age conscious type of person. when people thinks i am 28 and still single and they comment on it, i just smile.
i do believe that age is just mind over matter. i am 28 but i still keep this child in me all the time. i giggle, i laugh and i want to stay young at heart. and this makes me become a better girlfriend to my boyfriend. he loves the light side of me.

To me age is just a number, I probably don't act my age, I'm 35, people say I look much younger than I am, when I tell them I'm 35 they say never! Whether they use flattery by saying I'm 25/26 it's water of a ducks back to me. I have no issue with age, either in myself or others. I have had a relationship with someone who was 16 years older than me, they were worried sick that the age gap was too big, but it didn't bother me, I was more interested in the person and their personality. I grow old gracefully and I wouldn't want to be younger at all. Even the grey hairs don't bother me!

That's the spirit, Wolfie. The grey hairs don't bother me too, but the falling hair does! When I go to high school reunions I could see most of my classmates looking too old for their age.
I am happy to have passed through and endured life's ups and downs, I also don't think I'd like to go back to square one.

Me too, but it does bother me when I get pains on my leg and when my knees hurt when going down the stairs. Also when I cannot eat as much as I can the food that I love.

I feel young at heart. There is a kid in me which hopefully will not allow me to age. For me age is just a number, a figure to estimate your life span nothing more. I think more than anything age is mental thing. I mean you can't cool dude when you are in 20's or 30's but at 40 you say hang on i am getting old. You start doubting youself and getting worried about your age. About every wrinkle on your face, every grey hair that comes up, moemnet you get tired. I think we should be funny, happy go lucky and enjoy life and make the most of it that's what life is meant to be not worry about some silly num, ber. But aging is different. The body ages, chemical, physical and hormonal changes takes place to counter that you have to lead a healthy lifestyle, eat healthy diet, exercise, walk, play sports, have good sleep, relax youself do yoga, meditation, aerobics, take health supplements.

I am only conscious of it when a younger person will call me an age-respectful title! I have the mid-thirties creaks and graons surely enough, but I don't feel any older than i did as a child.I think our innards, souls, experience, not age.

Mostly I say no, age isn't an issue for me. I don't feel my age most of the time ;-P But then last night we were at my sister in law's place. She had a party for her partner. When cutting his cake he proposed to her. It was very romantic. But his mother was not pleased, though she said nothing. He's 36 and my sister in law is 48. I can understand how his mother feels because I wuldn't want my son to marry someone 12 years his senior either. Also, she has children from a previous marriage while he has none - at 48 she is too old to have any more and she is too old to adopt here in Australia. I know this has been a huge issue between them in the past.
So in that case I'd say that, yes, age does matter!

Age is just a number. That number denotes the years you have been on this earth. I will tell anyone my true age. Itmakes not one whit of difference to me. Besides I look my age and that i will not deny. Hard physical labor most of my life, long hours of work and then there were times in my life I partied the same way.

I'm very much non age conscious. I could care less. I've dated men much younger than me and even a few a bit older. I tend to act a bit childish myself and don't take anything in life too seriously so I guess that's why younger men prefer me. I just think age is all in how you act. If you stay young at heart you'll always be young.

As I get older I get more age conscious, especially when my body tells me I can't do something and my mind tells me I can

I am extremely age conscious.
Its more than just a number or an issue of mind over matter. It represents not only the number of years on earth, but the amount of experience on has had and in some cases, the amount of hardship one has endured. I dislike those who say that age doesn't matter. It cheapens lives that have managed to continue past the age of 30.
Because of my age, I feel that I can expect formality from those who are younger, and I expect to be talked to in a civil manner at all times.

I think everyone is probably a little age-conscious at one time or another. I don't dwell on my age, but every now & then it does hit me "oh goodness I am getting old", but that thought doesn't last long. I am pretty happy with myself and the way I look for my age. I think a lot of it is attitude about aging.

I wouldn't say I am age conscious. I think if you keep your body healthy and your mind active your only as old as you feel.

I never used to think about age. In 2000 I got Flesh Eating Bacteria and now I am 46 still suffering from the effects. I feel like I am 70 or something half the time.
I was thinking about getting another parrot the other day and all of a sudden I thought. Hmmm lets see am I even going to live as long as a parrot...oh dear, that's it..I am old now.
