What is the importance of computer & internet to us?

I think that the internet has become our life line. People seem to be on it more and more, and as long as possible, It's getting crazy. The internet carries so much information that it's got almost everything we will ever need, and i can see to or 20 years down the road we won't need to get up from it anymore because it'll give us the food and drinks and everything that we ask for too. Computer technology will probably run the world one of these days, and it's kind of too bad.... Take care, Peace and love be with you Blessed be.

I can't imagine life without a computer and the internet, I use it for so many things! Not just for playing on it - things like pogo or mylot, but also for the work I do on it like our taxes. I also do things like my grocery list on it. I use email to keep in touch with friends, family and use it for business too. I'd be lost without it!

I Use my computer to earn extra money, for information on what whatever I want to know. yahoo questions and answers. friend email me. and I email them. also family. to look for jobs. Do research. Happy New Year!

I honestly didn't want a computer of my own due to the fact of the horrible experience I had with my ex-husband. But I bought one because after I had been given one, it broke due to being so friggin old. Besides, the internet is the only true way for me to keep in contact with my family and the few friends that I have. Plus I love to play games, that seems to be all that is on my computer, plus music!! I love music!!

I use the computer several times a day now but just a few years ago I knew nothing about the computer and didn't want to. Everytime I have a quesiton about something now, I run to the computer. Family members too will have me look up things too (the ones that don't have a computer themselves). I use it to look up recipes too and geneaology.

internet can be used in many ways...many people use net for Wrong reasons while some use it for connection,shopping while some use it for earning i use net for communication,shopping earning as well as geting information/research it is the fastest way to get informed!!!

It is very important to me as I have an online website and do other things to earn money online. It is also a tool in educating my children, so the computer and the internet is a must in my house.

computers are made to make the life of people more easy so it.s really important to use this nowadays. Sometimes computers are much more intellegent then the real person because it does a lot of calculations in justa second. They are really better than humans because they can do a lot of tasks in just a minute which a human can't do but still theres' no use of computers of there's no humans who can create it and of course can use it. hy! the computer and the internet in this days are very important. We sort of..depend of the computer. we are doing everything whit the computer. the computers are doing everything for us. whituot computers in this days,for us could be very hard. but in the same time it could be much bether. the computers are making things that people has to do.so peoples remain whituot working place.computers are making the food.so the food is not that healty. we have cell phones,they are like the computers.they are not healty for the peoples.cars are the same.they are poluating the nature...and the list can continue...

Computers & the internet are probably the most important invention of this century. It helps us keep in touch with family & friends all over the world. They also speed up our work- it takes half the time to get work done. imagine having to crunch data without microsoft Excel!

I've been introduced to computers as early as 3 years old and for me it's a great deal if there's no computer in the house. Most of my school reports/ papers are done in the computer, I research on the internet as the encyclopedia we had are outdated so they're no good at all. Currently I'm using the internet to earn money by offering my photo avp services and posting quality discussions here in myLot.

Computer now is a very helpeful tool I think I can't live without it in my life ofcourse the internet is one of it's important tools because you can learn or know anything fastly and also the microsoft office for writting or making power points.

It's communication for me and my job requires full utilization of software and email to function at work.

If that question had been posed to me, say about 5 years ago, I would have answered back then that it's useful primarily for those research and term papers, occassional games and searching the net for those researches and making friends along the way. These days, though, the infinite possibilities of things that could be achieved with a computer and a good internet makes a computer quite an indespensable tool for everyday tasks. I connect with my friends, write my thoughts, look for those good recipes to try, play any game that I might like, make money, watch movies, download the latest tracks that I simply can't get out of my head, buy those goodies online.. and the list goes on..

Its the computer n internet only that connects us with world.. that connects u with me, that connects thousands of people so that they can respond to ur discussion!!

I use mine a lot also and am lost without it. I am old enough to remember not having computers too. I didn't have one most of my life. We use ours a lot of school. Because we homeschool, much of our daughter's schoolwork is done on the computer. She writes and keeps her writing on the computer. I use it to find recipes, knitting and crochet patterns, crafts, pay bills, watch my bank account, do research, play games now and then, email, much easier to keep in touch with eamil than snail mail. I'm not good at snail mail, and I'm trying to get a home business going online.

They connect me with people all over the world, without leaving my own home. They also help me keep in touch with friends without using up minutes on my cellphone when I don't need to. I use it to research for school, I use it for work, and I use it to play games as well.
