Do you love yourself! why or why not! and is it because what peaple say!?

I used to hate myself. All I would see is darkness in the mirror but through the years I did get to respect and love myself. I guess I had a hard time loving myself thinking it was selfish but to love someone you must be able to love yourself first. I don't pay much attention to compliments or what people say about loving me. I love the fact that I am a humanitarian and have a strong belief for human and animal rights.

Yes i love myself..But i hope that i will not love myself more than i love God because in myself, i can find no satisfaction..only God can satisfies human being.

It is very important to love one self. A person who does not love himself, tends to be insecure and suspicious of people around him/her. In this context I remember the 3 C's that my father used to preach me when I was a kid. 1. 'Compare' - Never compare your self with anybody. Each person in this universe is different and unique. 2. 'Criticize' - Never criticize your self. Know your weaknesses, but never criticize yourself. Nobody in this world is perfect. 3. 'Condemn' - Never condemn yourself. Do not condemn yourself for a mistake committed. Mistakes are committed by everybody in this world, analyze your mistake and do not commit it again.

Sure. I do love myself. The bible says love your neighbour as yourself. For me to fufill this commandment, I must first love myself and the get to love my neighbour as myself. Not than myself but as myself.

yes i thinck i love myself.I thinck it is verry important what opinion you have about yourself.I don't have any complex and i'm not so interested in what people say as long i'm feeling good.i Know myself and i know my limits so...depend's from who comes the discutions.
