Will I ever reach 500?

You can't add picture on post until you reach 500 but you can still post picture in interest. I've try that yesterday and I earn .01. It's not much but at leat you can do that. I undertsand why MyLot are doing that and I agree with them. Some people are only here for the money and they where pasting things from a webpage only to make money. I'm sure you will easilyu reach 500 :)

Well I agree with you on that buddy. I guess I was here only a day or so when the new rule was placed and the cut and paste option as well as posting pictures were taken away for people with ratings less than 500. It is a lot harder now since more time has to be given and each and every word has to be typed. I guess they are not going to take away the decission and we will just have to continue our efforts for a more comfortable time after we reach 500 and above. I am not far ahead from you and understand your frustrations completely. Best of luck buddy. I hope and pray as well that I last till I get to 500. I also went to payposter however, I did not like it that much. Sure they have a better posting mechanism in which they allow fonts and colours and smileys as well but other than that I did not like there general interface. Mylot should also allow advance formatting options in their posts and replies. It would make the whole site look much better with different colour texts and smileys and fonts etc

I don't think it will take you long to get there, just 10 post a day will have you there in less than a month based on your current rating, and its easy to respond to more than that on a day when you have a spare half hour. Hang in there, I rarely need to post links or pictures so I havent really noticed one way or another, but it won't take you long.

I know what you mean. I had just got started here at myLot and only a few days later they made the change. I understand that they don't want people using "cut and paste" on other people's articles but like you I was using it for URLs, which can be very long and complex. It seems to me that there should be a way to tell if the item being "cut and paste" is a URL or something else. But at least you are over half the way there, I have a lot further to go.

I feel your pain! I think. I am new here and I'm not sure I understand what all the fuss is about? I sit at my computer and type what I want to say. I have arthritis and it is hard to type, so yes, to be able to cut and paste would be a blessing. But why do you need it here? I answer other peoples posts off the top of my head. Or, I will research and then type my answer in. Then I run spell check, then I preview. If things look good at this point I figure my tags, then post. I put in my tags and move onto the next post that catches my eye. I do not pay attention to how many points I have; maybe I should. (You mentioned payposter; have you checked out squidoo?) I don't know anything about putting other pics in, I wanted to put one of my dog in but could not.Anyway, good luck in your endeavors.

Although I'm a newbee, I know exactly how you feel. It's much easier just to paste things. I wish that we were all given the opportunity to do so. Wait, I take that back. I think that only those who are legitimate in their discussions and topics should be allowed to paste, because some people just don't deserve to.

I hear you hon. It does make it harder for those that are honest and forthright. Just hang in there it is worth it when you get there. Try posting to as many discussions as you possibly can so you can reach the 500 quickly. You are over 1/2 way there. I know you can do it. I am glad you are on payposter too.

What exactly happens when you reach 500 posts ? Are you able to earn money without work ?? Don't think so. Do you just want to copy/paste from other websites? Why? Are you so silly that you don't have an own opinion about whatever is posted here ??? Do you want to hijack another one/s discussion with adding things that he cannot then later to add to that discussion even if he's the starter of that discussion ? That is filthy : why just want to become more rich against the others ?? Why would anyone here "deserve more" than others ?? That shows only some kind of spiritual and mental impotence, sorry to say that.

I totally agree. I used to enjoy finding just the right picture to go with the discussion. It was nice to get paid for them, too. I wish they would reinstate the practice and give us back our freedom!

Dont give up my friend. you will able to reach 500 point if you more actively in posting. i think the idea of mylot that only giving such feature to member who has 500 point or more is quite good. so new member will learn to post their idea or opinion by their own trying not just only copy-paste from others articles. ya, it also help mylot to fight spammer too. so please just keep your work well and enjoy mylot forum is the key :)

I actually think its a good decision on their part. You can manually type a link if that's why you don't like it. As for reaching 500, I did that within days. Just make a goal to post a certain number a day and you'll reach it fast!

Maybe you should have more patience you will reach that just post good reponse and good topic as many as you can..

i think we can reach over 500, but.. its posible if we can get some discuss and online member mylot lazy to disscuss
