Does your pug know it's a pug?

I have a 2 year old pug, named Charlotte. My husband brought her home when she was barely 5 weeks. I had just had to put down my miniature pinscher that had gotten sick.
Well it wasn't too long before we noticed Charlottes strange attitude toward pugs. She doesn't like them to the point of being scared of a picture in a magazine of a pug? WHEN SHE WALKS PAST THE BLACK FRONT OF THE STOVE AND CATCHES HER REFLECTION SHE JUMPS BACK LIKE SHE WAS SHOT.
Now this is no scaredy cat,like you other pug owners know?
She's fearless about everything except her reflection. My daughter says that she is my mini-pins reincarnation and can't believe what she came back as? She even has alot of my mini-pins traits. But that might just be all little dogs?
Does your pug do weird things like this?

We have 2 pugs and the younger one gets scared when he sees his reflection and starts barking at it. But he is very jumpy and whiney. He's very easily scared. The older pug, nothing seems to bother her. As for knowing they're pugs, I think they think they're human.

I have a pug,a basset hound,and a cat. My daughter has 3 rabbits. So you can imagine the looks when its pet food shopping day. I always say I'm stocking up for the next Noahs Ark.I love mini schnauzers, I had one that was mixed with a peek a poo when I was little.She was so tiny my mom and i had to nurse her with baby doll bottle. Her mother didn't make it through the birth. Thats why I'm always afraid of anyone breeding little dogs.She never went into heat though isnt that weird. Lived for 12 years.

my friend has a pug. one time we were jogging with his pug there was a large rottweiler in our way. his pug keeps on barking as if he would like to attack the massive rott. so my friend had to carry his pug coz the rott started to growl on us in annoyance and we run fast away from that place
