How do you type? Do you do touch system (no need to look at the keyboard) or do you use one or two fingers and looking for the alphabets to punch at the keyboard? Just curious!

I can actually touch type I look at the screen whilst I type, which is such a talent to have! I got my RSA Typing Stage I at college and I got a distinction for it. Being a male it is unusual and I even went on to being a secretary! I love typing and I can knock out a letter in minutes. Very handy on Mylot!

Thanks, Wolfie. I touch type too and I worked as administrative assistant in a bank. I have retired so it's a pity my typing skill is now only used in myLot.

My fingers fly across the keyboard. lol Anyone that sees me type is amazed by how fast I type. lol I don't look at the keys usually unless its a weird letter like a Q or Z sometimes...or whatever that I don't use often, but even then I don't always look.

Hi, I'm sorry if the discussion was posted before; I simply create discussions that come into mind spontaneously. Sometimes duplications are unavoidable. I only discover similar discussions later when the replies come. Still I'm glad to see comments. Thanks.

I do mostly touch typing but there are still a few letters or numbers where I glance at the keyboard to make sure I am at the right place. I think most numbers I glance down to see if I am at the right key.

I never know the answer to this,lol..I never pay attention to what I'm doing so I may be looking I might not be, but when someone asks me what I do, I immediately start looking and can't recall what I was doing beforehand.

I use the touch system. I had to learn that when I was in school and it's the only thing from school that I actually put to use too.

typing at home - typing has been part of my life as far back as manual typewriters, then electric models and then computerized typewriters and finally computer keyboards. Have seen the rapid transition of technology from human driven to electronic reliance.
Well I look to line up and then let the words in my head flow through my fingers as I watch what it is that I am typing. Took a bit of typing class in highschool. Had a couple of jobs where I needed to type. And of course all that I do on the internet require me to type.

I use all my fingers as I was taught to do at school. However, that was a very long time ago. I try type without looking at the keyboard but then I have to go back and correct all the mistakes. Hopefully I will get better in time.
