Mariah carey should put some clothes on

She does have a beautiful voice and a beautiful face but I have never liked her because of they way she dresses. If you have a beautiful voice like that you dont have to show your body to get attention! It's even worse now that she is so old!

I believe that a lot of today's female pop and rock stars should put on a lot more clothing *laugh* Not just Mariah Carey. I think that the message that society is sending to young women today with the scantily clad women and such things in videos is a really poor example to be setting.

i agree with you! i think mariah carey is a good singer, in fact im a huge fan... but ever since whes making music videos that are half naked... i felt that i lost all the respect and admiration for her. If you look at her old videos shes like prim and proper... dont tell me shes aging backwards! i thinks she needs to think more like her age...

I love Mariah too and I think she has an attention deficit disorder so she needs to let it all out by wearing skimpy clothing.She looks hot anyway.Just let it be;)

I DO!!!! The outfits are so 10 years ago... The whole body hugging, cleavage-flaunting, a**-popping outfits are so yesterday... She has a great body, I know, but she can flaunt it without looking like a hooker. Think Demi Moore or Madonna or Kylie. They're sexy yet they dont look sleezy.

I think Mariah Carey is gorgeous for her age and she has a great body. No matter what age she is.. if you look that good why not show it off? I would understand if she looked old or was out of shape and it didnt look right but the woman is beautiful and shes really fit so I dont see a problem with her dressing like that. I envy her for that too. I'd like to be gorgeous when I get older and look younger like she does with a great/fit body.

Mariah is very beautiful but I don't understand why must she sing half-naked on her videos. I think she's experiences the mid-life crisis where she thinks she's not beautiful and sexy anymore.

I agree with you. It looks stupid and childish, to be honest. Her TALENT should be what counts, not her skin. I think she looks immature, and like she is trying to get attention. I no longer listen to her music because I think she is a nightmare, to be honest. She's psychologically damaged and should spend less time seeking attention.

The only point I disagree with is the age thing. Just because us girls start aging doesn't mean we have to wear shirts up to our chins or start shopping for rocking chairs. It's not just mariah carey,i really don't have respect for these female celebs whether it be singers,actresses,or models. They use their bodies to get where they are instead of their own merits. Not to mention the fact that being a stragiht woman,I am really getting sick of the camera being focused on their boobs and butts all the time.I keep being told ,change the channel or don't buy that mag but what am I gonna do when it seems like no matter what channel I put on,or mag i buy,there's some bimbo showing her boobs and butt.

I totally agree with you. She has a beautiful voice, and even if she wears thick coat on her music videos, people would still listen to her, and enjoy her music.

I think Mariah Carey has proven more than enough and doesn't need to wear those kind of clothes... I agree that classy, elegant style fits her more... Classy and elegant won't make her look old but would make her look more respectable like she really is... I think that in most of her videos, she wear clothes with accordance to the story/song of the video... But yeah, sometimes I think she overdo it...

I agree! I pretty much only listen to classic rock though, so I'm not sure that I'm the person you should be asking. Of course, they weren't always fully dressed either.... But if they can't get by on their voice and talent enough (and don't even get me started on the ones who don't write their own stuff, or at least play an instrument) then why should they be making all the money? And who are these people and why do we make them role models for our children?

I agree, she looks like she is asking for it, but she is not the only one guilty of this all the pop stars show too much skin and it is rubbing of out the little girls out there.

I enjoyed her music better when she was a shy, reserved young lady.

Not that long ago, I remember that Mariah was photographed a few times with ACTUAL clothes on LOL She was quite covered up, in really NICE clothes. She looked beautiful and the media seemed to give really positive reviews. Then, in no time, she's back to the painfully short skirts and trashy outfits. I guess she thinks she looks good like that. It's such a shame... she's not doing herself one bit of justice.

I agree with you. I am the same age as Ms Carey and would not be caught wearing what she does! With her talent and her voice, she doesn't need all the attention she gets with her poor choice in attire. AUNTY

ye i defintely agree. in say something with snoop dogg the girl may as well just dance about in her undies! and this is a girl who's stomach aint really that great. maybe shes trying to attract male fans except just because shes half naked doesnt mean they will like her music!

I do. Celine dion and Whitney are never half naked in their videos. I think she's trying to get more attention and get more money from it. That's very low confidence I'd say
