yes I agree!!! If they can not get something in a short period of time then they just give up rather then the try and try again method.

I find that while this is generally true, there are always exceptions to the rule. I think that because this generation has grown up in a time of unparallelled wealth and prosperity, it has led to a feeling of entitlement that also brings along negative qualities - "i want it NOW" as opposed to "i want this, so i'm going to work as hard as i can and hope that i can get it"

Absolutely. People today have no patience with anything. Road rage is rampant. Life is hectic. Little do they know they are only making their life shorter and more miserable. The lack of patience comes from stress and stress will kill you.

What've they got to be patient about? You couldn't pay me to be a teenager these days. Between gangs, murderous recreations and pharmaceuticals, wars, a ratbag climate, and the joys of the spreadsheet world, who could blame them. Ah, good luck to them.

All technological advance in equipment are directed towards better , easier , and faster accomplishment . This certainly will not foster an appreciation for patience in young appliance consumers ,whatever the technology they use . for example , playing Playstation games does not prepare you for the long , gruelling batles of Chess! Using a calculator will not prepare people for mental calculation . Driving a 12 cylinder Mercedes or BMW or PASSAT will not teach drivers the virtues of slow rides , it would be a waste of (revs)

I think so, but then again it may be because I'm older now. I also feel that today's youth are a lot ruder and demanding than before.

With instant food, phones, games, instant everything really, yes, no one has a drop of patience, they have never had to excercise it, and don't see a reason why they should have to. For those of us who grew up with every last thing manual in our lives, slow phone or no phone, food made from scratch, etc I feel a lot more personally blessed, because not everything in the real world runds according to your schedule and sometimes they plain don't work at all.Real life takes real understanding.

Yes due to influence of their environment, the way how they grow up,the background attitude of their parents affect their child. The child who affected by this kind of relationship will act low patience to understand his environment.
