Did God create man or man created God.I think man created God.As we became civilized, we felt the need for having a superior all powerful concept that has answers to all our questions and someone who will punish those who will not confirm to the rules set by the society. With more development each and every society wanted their own God and more Gods were created. Now we are killing each other in order to establish supremacy of one or the other God.

I believe God created man. We will never know, of course, until we die. I feel God does exist, as He has provided many things in my life that no one else would know about, miracles basically. Call me crazy, but things don't just happen. Maybe once or twice, but not over and over again. I love and believe in God and Jesus, and I will always love them for what they have given me.

I'm totally with you, whether people believe it or not, God does exist and does things. All human beings are not the same and therefore cannot be totally convinced about the existence of God, but I'm glad I know and believe in Him.

God created man. As you say, "we are killing each other", it is because we want others to believe in our god, not realizing that all of us has only one God, only that each religious group give different names..

Thats good question sandy, let me put it this way, when you say that 'as we became civilized...' perhaps you mean as we got more educated and acute to invent someone. That still points towards a question, who thought it, a congregation sat for this cause? or a single man thought it out? If God is manifestation of a single person, why all his successors promoted it? If it was a thought of all society, what were the circumstances under which they were compelled to do so? how did they got committed on this issue? there should be a person intelligent enough to invent the word "God", who was he? what was his name? In fact, this whole theory is based on assumptions. No body new any atheists, say a century ago. It is only now that people are more acute they are trying to unburden themselves to get rid of the religious ethics. And the people who are weak in their actions are the reason to led them to believe that there has never been a god, God forbid me. Just think about those lines, if you believe that there is no belief, then it would be better if you do some research before committing to that belief.

OMG how can people belive that we evolved from monkeys, then 1 day we just stopped, but see its a "science theory" wich means that they can prove it, basicly they "think" thats how everything happened. I gotta go with "god" created "man" because the bible makes sense and is not a "theory", people dont hate other religions because they want to, some religions are made up to kill other religions, like "islam" it says in there quran (or however its spelled) that to get into paradise you kill innocent people by becoming a mayrtyr, would you not hate a religion that did that? There is only 1 real religion and that is "jehova's witness" wich teaches you the "real" story and the real bible. Eventually when evil overcomes every single inch of the world, all religions will be wiped out exept 1 "jehova's witness"

there's a reason for all of what is happening to us, and of course, this includes our existence. we all exist for the glory of the most high, to whom we owe everything. people do fight with each other to be noticed, to be the one whom all respects and is scared of. but at the end, he is not even half of what he wanted to be.

Its an interesting one but lifes and all the bits that come with it such a emotions and the power of thought plus everyting else which is too much to mention is just impossible to have originated from a single cell forming with another. The chance of life just heppening out of coincidence is mathmatically challenging (i can remember the exact odds but..) to say the least, well, so says young mr hawkings whos prety good at that stuff.

I agree with florenciascorner. Read the Bible. If you really want to know if God exists or not, ask Him to reveal Himself to you. The Bible says that you will know Me when you seek Me with all your heart. There are hundreds and hundreds of stories of God revealing Himself to people as they seek honestly for the answer to whether He exists or not. If you want the truth, ask God, but be ready for His answer. :-)

Well, for anyone who believes in the Bible and in the Creation as in the Book of Genesis, you will come to realize that God created man, and all the things around us. Men came from the Dust of the earth and were formed, and women came from the Ribs or adam. So I guess it is just the way a person is raised, and how they choose to believe on an issue.

Interesting question. Creationists will of course argue that God undeniably created man. I am a Christian but do not attend church regularly. I do believe in God and pray regularly. But I have definitely questioned myself along the lines that you have outlined in your post. For example, does the collective beliefs of a God therefore make God real? To strip it down to bare semantics, if a solitary island in the middle of the ocean had 200 people living on it that were completely cut off from the outside world; and all 200 of them were certain there was no God, would God exist on that island? The power of faith is very powerful indeed. And to take things one step further, even though people with religious leanings will say that the bible, koran etc guide their lives and answers their questions etc is it not ultimately them that make the decisions? Religion is not autonomous, it is not a living, breathing entity. Religion is a system of beliefs that do not exist without having people to believe in them. So based on that maybe man DID create God?? Personally I believe in God because there are just too many things in life beyond explanation. I also believe that there is more to life than life itself. I would not say that my beliefs are 100% compatible with christian beliefs but a christian is what I was born and raised as.

Hi sandy70 Just look at our body. Since birth we grew bigger and bigger and someother parts become longer and longer (ex hair, nail) but to some point it's stop growing except hair. What happen if our teeth didn't stop growing?. Isn't that show us something?.

Intersting points..I have often thought about the same thing myself, I am believe that we must be here for a reason or somehow was created just as we create things. I however I have issues with religions and the narrowness which is inherent in each. I think we created religion to explain our existence but no one truly knows, there may very well be someone out there but I refuse to believe that any particular religion will is supreme...I am however more inclined to believe that earth was created by a superior being. The world is fancinating isn't it?

I cannot concede any point to you for that blasphemy. Man was seized of God and His existance right from the very beginning. Man realized his helplessness and started reposing his faith in animaet or inanimaet objects for consolation. Of course, you have a point there when you say that Science opened the eyes of man regarding the eternal mysteries of the universe, the details of which he, as a finite human being could not partake of without either being inspired by God or through spiritual ways. Science gave man an insight in to abounding knowledge which he was yet to come by, but he was convinced that God the Almighty, All powerful, Omniscient is supreme and can only be invoked for assistance through our mind and heart but that God the Almighty could never make his appearance for view by finite beings like man. Creation of man too is a mystery. Despite theories conceded by Science regarding the origin of man and the universe (the big bang and the evolutionary process that gave rise to 'missing link'), no definite explanation has been propounded by scientists on this topic till date. We Christians however, go by our belief as provided in the Bible, which in fact has a universal acceptance ie. God created the universe and man in various stages. Moreover, the theory of evolution does not hold water with the onset of scientific revolution that brought man closer to one another. Furthermore, the theory of evolutionary process, if one were to accept it as trustworthy, does not hold water since such process does not show up now. Whatever that be, man will always feel the helplessnss and insecurity during the short span of his life and therefore, his mind will always race towards that Supreme Almighty being, the mysteries of whose existance can only be acquainted on the day of judgement ie the Judgement Day, the day of reckoning.

It's very difficult to discuss with you. Even Satan believed in God. I just like to request you to pls read the topic I started which is entitled Creation. That is a very good start for you to think of more about what you are saying. Pls go to my Profile and open such topic. If you don't like, that's up to you. I just want to help you not to be so ignorant. May God bless you.

You say this only because you do not have a good understading of God. Which is unfortunate! If you want to understand science you use a science book, if you need help in mathematics you would look to a math book. If you wish to have an understanding of God, my suggestion is that you get a copy of the Holy Bible. Almost anywhere you are someone will know what it is and may be willing to help you. God Bless and good luck:)

Ah yes, the old chicken and egg riddle. Who created the creator. Well the answer is not as difficult as you hoped it would be. The fact is that man creates a total of NOTHING! Tell me one simple thing man has created and I will make you rich beyond your wildest dreams! There are a minority of men who can organize a system of behavior that other men are willing to follow, that's called an idea (or an ideology) but it creates nothing. There are a larger minority of men who can arrange materials into shapes not previously known, that's called invention, it creates a total of nothing, it only utilizes that which was already created. So then if God did not create all the forces, elements, and materials who/what did? Did they create themselves. That would make them gods. That is after all the meaning of the word "god", the creator! Also it's disingenuous to refer to our present state as being "advanced" when in fact we are in the final throes of social devolution. The sophomoric philosophies of academic so called "liberals" is anything but liberal when they insist that all mankind follow their childish lead instead of the ageless wisdom of those who built from generations immemorial upon the foundation of the wisdoms preceeding them. God is an infinite force which does not lend itself to human language nor human intellect. The human mind cannot accept nor even visualize infinity, to even attempt to do so would lead ultimately to sanity threatening terror. It is a cowardly thing to say everything just exists because it has always existed, that exposes the obvious shallowness that the claimant has reached the limit of his imagination. Again I reiterate, man creates nothing greater than fantasy, and fantasy has no substance. Therfore a god created by man cannot be the force that created man.
