Buying a house can be so stressful. Sometimes you just don't know what questions to ask or what to look for in a home.
If you feel this way, let me know what your concerns are.

We are trying to buy a home and I'm terrified. What if we can't make the payment? What if we get behind and the bank repossesses it? Where will we go if we lose the house? I'm really scared.

Most of my clients feel that same way, but if you're already approved for the loan it's the responsibility of both the loan officer, you and your husband to make sure that your income supports the payments you will be making and not cause a strain should something change. It's not uncommon to feel this way, but you should not let it worry you unless you feel there's already a problem with income or you feel your payments are too high. Never purchase something you can't afford.
We never know what will happen with our jobs in the future, therefore it makes no sense to worry about what could happen, most of the time there is some warning that a job is becoming unstable, if that's the case then that would be the time to put a plan in place, and not wait until it's too late.
I hope I've eased some of your fears. Enjoy your new home. By the way where are you located? Check back with me and let me know how everything goes.

What would you recommend? Going through a certain company and getting financed through them or finding a mortgage company and getting an outside loan? This is our first home and i have heard through friends that we would not qualify for the first time home buyers loan, because my husband only makes 52k a year. I'd appreciate your advice. Don't know much about this!

Your husband making 52K will not disqualify him for the program, if this is your first home you should be able to qualify for it. As far as who you should go through there are different types of loans to fit different financial situations. Where are you located and are you moving in or out of state? Not all states have the same loan requirements.
