Would you Lie to make your Partner Feel Better

I personally believe that the truth is always the right way to go, no I would lie, but I would use tact so I would not hurt his feelings.

I wouldnt lie to my partner because i would rather that i will be the one who will tell my partner about what he should know rather than knowing it from other people. It's sometimes hard to tell the truth especially if what you are going to say is very significant but it is much simple to tell it and explain because if it will come from other people, then it might be exaggerated and blown out of proportion which will make things worse. if my partner really loves and understands me, if i tell the truth even if it hurts, he wouldnt get mad at me.

ya some time its require because if one lie can make strong your relation or can save relation then its fair. i many times lie to her but never cheat her.

Yes I'd like to say the whole truth this makes me feel better that I was carrying a burden on my shoulder but now I'm free from it and always in my point of view I feel if you didn't say the truth maybe the other person know it accidentely from another person like a friend of him who knows the story so it is better to know the truth from me not from anyone else. But I can't deny that truth hurts yes it hurts but it is safer to do so. Thank you.

no i will not lie, i'll tell everything. because a relationship that is full of lies just don't last. if you're partner finds out of something that you're keeping from her or lying about, then your partner will definitely be intrigue and will raise questions and doubts about you and your integrity hence also risking the relationship and your partner's trust upon you.

If is somone I really wanted to be with for the rest of my life I would tell her the whole truth because it would cause her to not trust me in the end and eventually the truth will come out. I it is somthing that would hurt her I would rather talk about it so we could work it out rather than avoid the subject. It is like if you have a bugar on you shirt and you friend does not tell you because they think you wll be embarresed. I would want someone to tell me that I had a bugar on my shirt so I could get it off rather than keep talking to everyone with it on my shirt!

I agree that properly lie is necessary to smooth the relationship between the two people. If something that can make the other angry or cannot acceptable, you don't need to talk to him, just let it go out. keep secret is acceptable sometimes, but I will try my best to avoid to lie to other.

I know that sincerity hurts,but that doesn't means that you have to lie your partner.Maybe he would feel better in that moment,but after that,when he'll discover that you lied him only to make him smile than,he'll become more depressed!
