There is no problem in loading your pc with tow OS. Just be sure that you meet the standard requirements of those OS that you will install, to avoid computer crashes. Try also installing booting software such as bootmagic. In that way your system won't be confuse on what OS they must recognize.

I can't see no minuses with regards to loading two operating systems on a pc. I have a self created version of phrak which I love, because it helps me to secure my network plus the fact that it's a live cd which makes it better.

I used to run Winblows 98 and Mandrake Linux on my laptop several years ago. I don't remember having any problems. You just have to watch the computer boot and get to it in time to choose which OS you want to run at the time (unless you want the default to boot). Now that my laptop's old and I've got a desktop, I run XP on my desktop and Ubuntu on my laptop. I like dong it that way best because I can have both running at the same time.

that is a concern, you can only operate one os at a time.

i plus is that you get two different operating system in one box and the minus is that there are more chances of your operating crashing, due to disk problem or sharing problem.

Pluses: 1. You get to use more types of applications. 2. You get more organized. 3. You'll be able to use both properly. Minuses: 1. Takes up more disk space. 2. Some hardware aren't compatible with some OS. =)

At one time I had SUSE and XP but I trouble getting use to the Linux format thought Ubuntu Linux OS would be more user friendly since that Linux OS worked I am assuming this will also.

maybe sometimes Ubuntu GRUB quite messing around with the MBR. but if you understand how to manage it. i think running dual OS is very good for you.
