Wow! $22,000 for a victorian playhouse for 3-8 year olds! I guess if you have an obcene amount of money, that would be just a drop in the bucket. What seems like a lot to us would be nothing to them. But really...a playhouse!

No, even if I was a multimillionaire, I would not spend that amount of money on a play house. I would still want to teach my children the value of life, sharing, morals etc. I would prefer that age group to be near me, where I can at least hear them if not see them. Then again, if I had a nanny (JOKE). Have a good day!

And they would probably love playing in the cardboard box! Kids are great that way!

That is a decent downpayment on a new house! There is no way that my kids will ever have a playhouse worth that much! I want to get them new play equipment - but I'm looking for no more than $1000!

No I wouldn't buy it. That kind of money could buy a decent REAL starter house here. If I had millions of dollars it would be tempting but I still wouldn't buy it if they asked. I'd buy or build a normal playhouse then donate the difference in cost to less fortunate children as a lesson to my own about how lucky they are to have a playhouse at all.

i was once tempted to buy a playhouse for my little girl but the price is no way near that much! it cost about 18,000 pesos, roughly around $300. but that is considered already expensive here in the philippines - all that for just a playhouse. what more with $22,000? shudder!

No I wouldn't, I think kids should use their imagination more when I was a kid I made my own doll house out of a cardboard box, I think kids today are robbed of the chance to use their imagination because they are given too much.

I would do it if I had a ton of money to spend but I do not so I would not be able to do. That is an outrageous cost for a playhouse of any kind and it better be of good quality. The kids that have that kind of playhouse must be excited and happy. It is a very beautiful playhouse from looking at the webpage. That is amazing.

Wow, that is insanely alot of money just for a playhouse. Maybe if I am a millionaire than that wouldn't be a problem at all.

If i had the money i would love to be able to spend that type of money on the kids, but unfortunetly i dont. I buy my children as much as i can afford but $22 is well out of my reach, i recently bought them a 12ft trampoline which was pretty good and they loved it.

No of course I would not spend that lot of money on a toy. I have other urgent matters that I need to spend on such as paying my mortgage.

i would have to be seriously rich to drop that kind of cash on a playhouse i've just asked in a similar discussion what price would be acceptable for a cardboard one so from end of the spectrum to the other lol. I'd rather give some to charity if i'm going to waste it and not miss it.
