Did you have a teacher you can never forget? Why?
I have lots of unforgettable teachers but my favorite is my Grade 1 teacher. She was very pretty and nice and I think we had a mutual admiration for each other. I think I was her favorite because she chose me to be the muse in class to participate in a yearly school parade. I was supposed to be riding on a float but on the day of the celebration, I got sick so someone else had to take my place. Then on one occasion she chose me to dance solo on stage. I think it was a Dutch dance and I can still remember the steps she taught me. I can recall her face very happy and excited when I danced, she clapped her hands and kissed me after my performance. That did not make end up a good dancer though. lol

I remember alot of my teachers but the one I like the most was Mrs. Coblentz she taught me many things like not only to read but to understand what I read and that has been a great help through out life. She also taught me the value of math and how much I would use it in life and she again is right .This teacher was amazing she made learning fun taught you things that nobody else would I had her for two grades I hd her her in sixth grade and third grade I also lived not far from her I delivered her newspaper to her and she would always give me something special.I never will for get her I loved her more then any of my other teachers.

I wish I could forget my first grade teacher, Mrs. Rutsager. She decided I wasn't worth teaching and just ignored me. When I went on to 2nd grade I was put in Special Education because I still couldn't read at all.
3rd grade I was home-schooled and 4th grade I placed into gifted and talented.
If she had only done her job to begin with, it would have saved me and my parents literally years of grief.

Most of my teachers at school, I hated, because they were useless, they couldn't control the class or were really bad teachers. Some didn't like me either and one teacher even bullied me. My best teacher was actually at college, she was lovely and gave me a great deal of support and without her help and guidance I would never have passed. I was lucky enough to have her as my tutor for 3 years running and I actually changed the course I was intending to go on to another so I could have her as my teacher. I still keep in contact with her and she gives me a personal reference too!

I had a second grade teacher that was awesome. Her name was Mrs. Glenn and her birthday was on Leap Year, and it just so happened it was Leap Year the year I had her for 2nd grade. Sometimes I would get picked on my older boys because I was short and skinny. There was a boy that would carry me around the playground. Mrs. Glenn kept telling me that I was "small but mighty." It has always stuck with me.

I was very fortunate in that I liked almost every teacher I ever had... but there is one who stands out. Teaching was more than a job for him. He cared about his students more than any other teacher I ever had. He was very creative in his teaching methods and never gave up until he knew that every last student understood exactly what he was trying to teach them. He used to leave the room and come back dressed as a little old British lady for our history lessons. I had a serious car accident the summer after I left his class and he repeatedly drove hundreds of miles to visit me in the hospital... I've never forgetten the lessons he taught me, not just about history and the 3 r's, but about life.

My 6th grade teacher was my favorite teacher of all time. He treated me like I was somebody and made me feel good about myself. I made straight A's in his class because he was such a great teacher. It wasn't just me he treated that way but all of his students. That was a good year. I'll never forget Mr. V.

My favorite teacher was my 11th grade English teacher. He was similar to me in a lot of his opinions, which I think is why I looked up to him. He told me once that he became a teacher because he didn't like the school system and wanted to help change things from the inside. It inspired me to stop being a complainer and to do something to change the things I don't like.
