Do you thank GOD after achieveing something or being successful in something?

Yes, I do. I believe that if you pray to God for something or to give you the strength or skill to help you accomplish something, then you have to also acknowledge his help and say thank you when it was achieved. I do the same thing whenever I fly on a plane; I pray for a safe flight as the plane is taking off, and when it touches down safely I close my eyes and say a quick thank you prayer to God. I don't want to take any blessings in my life for granted.

Yes,Always.Even for the little things,like when I wake up in the morning..I know I'm alive and I've been given one more day for a reason,even if I don't know what that reason is for.I don't seem like the kinda guy that would but I do.I even thank him when things go wrong cuz I know he has something for me to learn from.God is the only one who has never let me down,,,or ever will.

Everybody seems to remember god in trouble and not in happiness isn't it? we often see students praying god during exmas but not after that isn't it? it sems taht peopel remember god only during times of trouble and not in their happier times and i feel it's wrong and one should involve god in all modes of life and i alway's make it a point to pray god whenever i feel like and it maybe in times of trouble or even during the times of happiness.....

We should be grateful to God always. We should thank Him for whatever. We talk to God thru our prayers and God talks to us thru the Holy Bible. In our prayers, we ask whatever we want. It is in our prayers that we should thank Him. When I pray, I thank Him for everything not only for success or achievement but including all the negative things that happen to me because I learn from the things which I don't like to happen in my life.

I am an absolute believer in god. I feel god is always there to help me. i make it a point to thank god every day for whatever he has given me and dont wait for a special achievement to thank him. I feel without him i wouldnt have achieved half of the things that I have got. I think we all should be grateful to god for whatever he has given us.

yes i thank god for all the things he has provided me with and on every little achivement of mine. I say my prayers daily before havinf anything to eat and even before sleep. I firmy believe that god is there to protect me and my family whenever we need help.

I want to talk to God every day, to thank God for what He has done for me and just to talk things over with Him. It would be ungrateful of me not to let God know that I appreciate the things that God has given me and done for me in life.

Ya ofcourse, Whne we achieved something,all achivements done by the grace of God. It is our responsibilities to thanks the God by heart.

I am sorry if I may offend someone by my answer, but no - I do not. If I achieve something, I feel have got it by my own (or my partners) hatd wor and efforts. People have free will in my opinion, and they help themelves.

Yes, I also do. I'll say a short prayer to him thanking him for the gifts he's given me. After all, it is God that gives us all our talents and treasures. We should always be humble and give him thanks for hearing our prayers and giving us our talents.

I tired but i havent done alot of praying and thanks him lately i know i feel bad, but it is also hard me to start a pray, i havent done many of them, it so easy when i watch other people doing it but when i tried to do that i dunno where to start, so i have been slacking off alot on that, which is not good i know, i need figure out how to do , i guess there is no right way or wrong way, i guess i have to used to the idea of it.

Hello Sweetlady 10, Yes being thankful is a daily routine for me. I am thankful for all the things I have, family, friends, and life. If I achieve something, all my thanks goes to God, because without him I could do nothing at all. He is the giver of life and without life there is no achievement or success. We all have many things to be thankful for and we need to spend time thanking God, not just once or twice but all the time. I have a saying, If we can count the times during the day we have thanked our Creator, then we have not thanked Him enough. Take care, Jadona2006

To be honest no I don't. I'm not a very religious person. If I achieved something I think its down to my own efforts and ability. Sorry if that offends everyone! I know most people on mylot are very religious.

hey its not that u have to thank GOD only when u acheieve success, Thank GOD for your existence,coz u have got a human life which is worth living and dont just scribble with happiness and sadness that u face in human life.....

forget about thanking god after getting success i thank god everyday for whatever he gave me yesterday and beleive in him that whatever he gives me today and tomorrow will be the best for me.

Yes i do thank god when i achieve something . It is not a nice thing to remember god only at times of worry

I think i am lucky at that time.If the lucky from GOD,i believe it.Does GOD give any lucky to us?But i am not sure GOD will give the lucy to me every time.working hard and try my best,that is my opinon.
