Why are red roses given that importance?

ya its a good question but i have no idea about this . if you know then please tell me i am eagerly waiting for your answer.

I wonder how it was started too. I think because red is a warm deep color. Hearts are colored in red, and now when Valentines comes along everything you see is mostly in red. I agree all roses are beautiful.

U know red color always attracts person soon.Usually this rose is used as a symbol of love.

they are special to propose ,to do good work,, to attract the people etc...

have you ever watched a rose growing .........it just opens itself one by one and love means opening everything of each other one by one and understanding i think so ......n i believe so.....ohter can believe a different thing

red color has always been associated with love...i guess that's the reason why red roses are presented to one's beloved.

actually nobody knows the correct story behind the theme of giving red rose to your lover at the first time....but it is universally accepted by people they do find simpler and attractive than.. any other medium .....it is attractive and works fine on the gals..... so don't bother keep on doing what others are accepting ......

i personally get yellow roses to my girlfriend,even on Valentine's day.Why yellow? Because they are my favourite and her as well.i never get tired of the yellow ones.i don't go much by the meaning of the colour of roses.It is the thought that counts.Besides mine writes such wonderful message on card,the colour doesn't really mean anything.

because it is meant for purely love and looks excellent.
