Internet Explorer OR Mozilla Firefox. which one is better..

i am using internet explorer 6..i have heard about the increasing fame of mozilla firefox.i am in a confusion to choose the best one.help me out.i have heard that firefox will provide good quality pictures and graphic,also,the wide length of webpage and other advantages over internet explorer.
it also contains the inbuilt download accelerator,so now i am very much confused ...help me out..

Hi hiyellowmoon, I like mozilla firefox because it is much secured when compared to internet explorer. It has an advanced security feature which makes it safe to use. I like also the add-ons, plug-ins, and extensions of mozilla, thus making it more useful. However, I also used IE because there are some websites that cannot be opened by mozilla, so I used it rarely.

One obvious answer will be Firefox.
Internet Explorer is obsolete now..
Opera is even better than IE 7.
There are many loopholes in IE ..
First is it allows active X controls.. Hence making the system vulnerable to attacks.
Second it consumes more memory.. (I checked mozilla, IE, Opera).. Firefox consumes low memory than other two.
Also .. There is an added features of addons in Firefox.. which is better than IE

you are absolutely correct the kind of addon that firefox gives is excellent.did you notice the length of the page in firefox its very long than Internet explorer 7.and the kinda of graphics it supports is also very good.i think more and more people are now switching back to mozilla firefox.

you can always put them on your desktop together and onpen them at the same time for comparisson. in my observation though, firefox is fater when surfing and more secure compared to internet explorer. that is my personal observation, i can be wrong. try to experiment it your self. greetings. : )

ie7 is very slow and many security problems and also one half of the page becomes the copy of your desktop or any other pages u have opened prior.

I use Mozilla Firefox.
You should try it. Its a lot better than IE.

I've been using Mozilla Firefox ever since I've found out about it. Well, the main reason why I love it is the tabbed browsing feature. Too bad, with the release of Internet Explorer 7 they also incorporated some features that the Firefox could only provide before. Which made decision making even more complex...
So, which is which? I'd still stick to the original...I'd go with Mozilla Firefox.

People tend to say that Mozilla Firefox is becoming better but I still enjoy my Interent Explorer, I tried downloading Firefox weeks back and it messed my whole internet up, I was so upset.
