Why do you play Neopets?

Is it just the games? Is it because you belong to a guild so talk to your friends through there? What is the reason *you* play Neopets?

I play for several reasons ...
Because the site is addictive... lol
Because I have friends there to talk to.
Because playing the games is de-stressing.
I do belong to a great guild as well.
I play Plushie Tycoon, and have helped some on the help board for it.
I really like some of the pets.
I like creating layouts for my pages.
I am sure I could come up with a few more reasons ... but those are the main ones I can think of right now.
Why do you play?

Well I was going to reply to my question, after deciding not to just answer my own question in my original question. But once I submitted my question I couldn't reply to it. I can only reply to your comments.
But the reason I play, is for pretty much the same reasons you did. And to escape the things I'm supposed to be doing. Like cleaning, and laundry. LOL It's fun to see if I can beat my high score, can I get that avatar yet, do I have enough nps to buy enough books to get an award. Stuff like that. And it's very addictive. LOL

I played all the time until I was frozen for the last time that I intended to restart. It was mostly because of my guild, and the friends I had made there. The games always had very little appeal to me, but the relationships were golden.

Wow! I completely forgot about Neopets! I used to be OBSESSED with that game! I think for me, it was just the games. That and trying to get alot of money. I'm very competitive when it comes to that kinda stuff! But since I had my daughter, I haven't really kept up with them.

Well i play it cause it's a fun way to relax..Also i like playing the games too when i have time...

When I played Neopets it was mostly for the battledome. I am a guy so back then the only thing I thought about was having the strongest pet possible, so I spent most of my neopets time getting neopoints to spend on training my pet and buying weapons.

I like playing neopets because it helps me get in touch with my kiddie side, also I don't have a real pet so a virtual pet will do.

I love playing neopets...1. it's addicting 2. i love my pets 3. i enjoy the games 4. i am in a guild and have met some very nice people 5. it's just alot of fun 6. i can make my userlook up, petpages, shop and gallery my own, with my own choice of designs, colors and everything else.
