haha.. I believe so too...
Cause I personally see myself a bit more mature than my age, and most of the times I find guys that are of the same age quite immature.

yes, i have to agree on that. past experiences and having been able to learn from them make us more mature, more responsible individuals.
there are many middle-aged men and women i know who remain "childish" (not child-like, let me emphasize)or immature because they have not learnt how to cope or deal with their experiences.

see there are few factors which on combination gives maturity. mere age cant do anything. it is aldo responsibility with age , certain other thing happend in life make oneself mature. there are examples of yougest kid in a family , even he is grown up may be professional somewhere but he is still immature before his elders. which means maturity also depends on the area of his responsibility.

I do not think maturity comes with age since a lot of people do not act their age. Some younger people can be pretty mature and some older people can be pretty childish. Maturity probably comes with experience and understanding.

Age is just a number after you have entered into youth.
Maturity to me is the point when you start taking responsibility of your actions towards yourself and others. And you can many aged people around who deny taking decisions, not to talk about responsibility of those decisions!
There can times in your life, when you should argue with your elders, not just to show your level of maturedness but to correct them. And you would find ample examples around you where old persons have learnt from youngsters. And they appreciate it too!

not really believe but i see maturity within an individual not depending his/her age. i have friends who sometimes piss me cause they act like a 10-year-old. btu i also have friends with sense. mixed you know so you really cant judge people by age.

I think your age is your age and there's nothing you can do to change that. But your attitude and the way you handle things does matter. As people age, their views about life changes too so we better see that for ourselves.

Maturity comes with age to a certain extent. When you've reached a certain age, say 18 or 21 it becomes only a number; perhaps an indication of how long you have left to live or how prone you are to certain diseases. I have friends who are 30 but act as though they are 50 and friends who are 40 who act like they were in their late 20s. Stay young at heart, don't lose your youth. Age becomes only a number.

Hello! I don't ever especially think about my age, probaly because I'm still young, but I wish to tell one: It's not important how old are you and whether you have a lot of life experience! Your age is age of your soul! To my mind, knowledge, experience and degree of maturity are not important parameter of age! The Age is condition of soul! 8)
