My friend had so much spyware that he could not even open up internet explorer. His computer was really REALLY slow. I had to give him a USB drive with AVGs spyware and virus scanners on it so he could fix it. It found hundreds of threats and a TON of infected files. I would highly recommend this scanner.

I would suggest NorTOn anti virus.Also instal spyware in your system.

well the antivirus programee i have been using is MCAFEE VIRUS scanner ,, and it rox,, its been helping me ever since from viruses , not only from net even though from cds and programmes as well.. so do use the latest edition of MCAFEE VRUS scanner

For advanced users, you should get Hijackthis, If you know anybody who knows what to remove after you scan your computer with Hijackthis. It is a free download. Try AVG free, it's free and very good anti-virus program, if your current program can not remove the virus most likely AVG will be able to do this.

Try Norton it's good.

you can always use an online antivirus scanner if you dont have the software. bitdefender online scanner and trendmicro are pretty good

use norton antivirus search it using the limewire and install it. also install anti spyware softwares.. if your pc continue to warn your about antivirus such as your desktop changed and pop ups just keep on popping. you are already infected. try backing up your files, format your harddrive and install the antivirus and anti-spyware in your system. also don't open email attachment's that are suspicious such as .vbs its a virus and it will harm your pc.

My system got infected with virus even though i had antivirus which i regularly update.Its very difficult to remain virus free because we don't know which site on internet is good and which site has viruses on it.I will suggest you to download AVG antivirus its a good one and free to download and upgrade for home users.

If you have a virus on your computer, then you should probably try to get an Anti-Virus software. McAfee or Avast anti virus will do just fine. And remember to update them with the lates virus definitions. But, if the viruses have gotten too out of hand. Then, i would suggest formatting your computer and installing a fresh copy of your Operating System.

I use AVG 7.5 anti-virus free edition and McAffee virus scan. Just searched for McAfee or AVG on the internet, then download their free anti-virus. It works for my computer.

Since your computer has a warning sign of virus. You may try to check the type of the virus, it's name and find how to cure it. There are guidelines on how to clean-up viruses, manual removal and tru scanning, just look for the name of the virus you found, use this site http://www.antivirus.com and there are instructions there how to remove it, then scan with pccillin, AVG, Norton or Kaspersky antiviruses. It has a security center for computer files,internet and connection, emails and if you're a parent,you can have parental controls on sites that are not suitable for kids or if parental guidance is needed.
